I love these instant noodles so much! One of my favourites :D I usually just finish up the broth by itself as there are still pieces of noodles at the bottom of the broth

David here: I don't remember the white powder, but that must be the coconut. I hate dried coconut too, because it looks like fingernails (ick) and I prefer steamed rice over coconut rice. My Thai cousins laugh at me. That is shrimp paste you're adding at the beginning, so that explains the fishy flavour. I drank the soup straight, but rice is an even better idea, Ange! Steamed rice, of course. I also like how you saved the other three packs for later, like a pro.

Hello from Malaysia, Angela!! we also have our own laksa in Malaysia. the good thing is it was not the same style for some of the states. the one in my state did not have coconut milk in them.
Feels really good, laksa noodles is very popular and very tasty all over south east Asia, hope you like it

There are different variations of laksa. The noodles used could also vary. There is a famous laksa in Singapore called Katong Laksa which is eaten using just a spoon. Regardless of which laksa we are eating, we just drink the broth. I think most people also enjoys taking a spoonful of broth with some noodles and eat it together (like most soup-based dishes).

In Malaysia there are two brand that produces instant noodle with coconut milk which is known as "ASAM LAKSA" . You should try them from Maggi and Mamee . Malaysia and Singapore are quite same for their cuisines 😋

Love your videos. After watching this I order a box of 12 packs from Amazon. When I make a pack my middle daughter ( 6 y/o ) gets a glass of water and asks me if I can share them with her. It's awesome. She takes a bite, takes a drink of water, takes a bite, takes a drink of water. :) I have a question you may not get asked much. What bowl did you cook that in? I've been looking for one exactly like that for a while.
Hi I'm from Singapore and I love this laksa instant noodle too! I like to add in some vegetable and dumpling or fish balls! Yummy! With the leftover broth I just drink it. Did u get it from Korean supermarket in Korea? In Singapore, this is readily available in most supermarkets!

I would put in some shrimp, fish cake/ball along with some vege to amp it up oh and an egg. That's what I normally do when I make any kind of soupy instant noodle.
