In my mind, this is Anna's own La Mer. Ferocious and dark, yet lulling with it's glimmering ebb and flow, until finally like an incoming wave it crescendos and violently breaks against the shore, it's energy dissipating, the tide receding in the next piece, or, back to the begining of the song, like the endless cycle of the sea. Love it.

I saw Anna for the first time at The Laneway festival. Loved it.. Later I saw her at the very befitting Sydney Opera house as part of the Vivid Festival. was in the fifth row centre at eye level with Anna. Finally before Covid, I saw Anna at the Factory Theatre in Sydney. This time at her feet. Loved it. Anna is a great guitarist and performer. Each year she is more confident and mature. I miss her regular visits to the antipodes on account of this damned pandemic.

Never really felt the urge to learn anyone else's songs since been a teenage nirvana fan but this had me looking up the tab n practicing. Hard to make it sound so smooth. There's something about the way girls play guitar that has its own quality. Belongs in a Tarantino film for sure. Respect is due

J'aime, mais j'ai rien compris au clip. Y'a une symbolique qui m'échappe avec le mec au cigare qui se cache les yeux, peut-être pour ne rien voir, alors qu'il déjà dans le noir...
A part ça, la dame semble être une excellente guitariste bien qu'elle ait l'air de souffrir, mais je trouve dommage que ce morceau se résume à une intro.
