Honestly That sounds accurate in many parts of the world IRL too. "Overpass over railways? Just built road crossing right on top of it. I'm sure there'll be no problem and accidents anyway lolol"
I remember that on the original Transport Tycon Deluxe, trains were able to block the whole network for ridiculous reasons. For example, on a double-track railway, one train almost reached a station, but decided to go back on entrance points. On the second track on oposite direction another train decided to do the same like in a mirror, so these two trains blocked themselves and also the whole network which caused it to collapse, lol. Thanks God for OpenTTD!
You know what I find stupid and ridiculous.....actually, I have many...... the most ridiculous is when you add street car Lines.....or even sometimes busses.... and they all bunch up together going in the same direction, to the same destination on the same track or road......a great example is here on your video at 0:19 where all the ferries are arriving all at once...... my next annoying quibble is the monorails on the new game are not authentic monorails.....they look like regular trains with a cylinder pole in the middle for the trains to run on........when you build over the roads.....it adds a rail way crossing with flashing lights... just like a normal train..... a monorail is supposed to be elevated the whole time....with elevated stations..... the original TTC had a Normal Monorail which was a single grey beam that crossed over everything..... The Newer TTC was exciting at first with many new GIF's to try......you could add fancy street cars and Light Rail Vehicles, Double Decker bus, articulated bus.....and jet catamaran ferries......but lately, it seems like all those New vehicles are getting old.....they don't seem to be coming up with any new exciting Features like a couple years ago.....all the vehicles start looking the same again.... No 3D or nothing.... and the articulated busses are just two normal busses pushing each other..... they tried a subway GRF which failed..... other than that... a good game
For bunching up, you can use scheduling manager to spread them out, there is a really cool tutorial here on YT on how to set it up, its fairly easy once you understand concept. For 3D, someone actually made a 3D viewport, which ironically runs 1000 time better, since openTTD runs in 2D, and modern gfx card have some basic simulation of 2D chip and thats it. This 2D only is what is causing slowdowns in large maps. Only problem is, its bit buggy n stuff.
You know what else is stupid, when the town/city decides to build roads over a railways track instead of an overpass.

I’m fine with it cause I don’t care for lives but money

Something else that doesn't make sense... having signals on every centimetre of track
only noobs do that
@@kavser2 actually its tge most efficient and allows for the longest trains and fastest throughput with having minimal slow downs due to red signals.

Where's Transatlantic Slave Trade Inc.?
3:11 In Transport Tycoon version they crash themselves, But Why OpenTTD not crash.
It's OpenTTD Logic
I remember them actually crashing like this, they must have removed it at some point just like entry, exit, combi, block signals.
One thing is for sure, the music was stupidly loud
My personal record is 300 (victims)

Honestly: What is „stupid” with „reforestation”? How instant it is?
Yo, tell me :)
