So the ruler made a deal with demons, as a result the body parts of the newborn baby of the ruler was taken by the demons. Then he abandoned the baby. That baby grew up as a fighter. He began to get his body parts as he started killing demons.
It's a masterpiece and I would definitely recommend it, you would not regret if you watch it

Terror in resonance is one of those old but incredibly well done anime’s, plot is top tier, character development is top tier. No one would ever guess it’s from 2014 honestly
2014 isn't even that old. Think of the Big 3, as well as other most popular animes like Pokémon, Sailor Moon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragon Ball and many more. They are all older than that

Balance unlimited and terror in resonance was good I recommend it :)
Terror in resonance was decent but the characters were not fleshed out at all, the MCs’ motivation was never properly revealed, and the story was very rushed and lots of plot points were executed poorly.

Erased was my first ever anime and it is HIGHLY slept on. Also recommend Angel Beats because it was my 2nd ever anime and it still holds the number 2 spot behind Erased in my top 3 fav animes.

I actually watched this short and watched Dororo. I’m very picky with anime and have only watched a few in full. I’m glad I watched Dororo, there seemed to be a few filler type episodes that were disheartening but the second half was absolutely amazing. The very Ending could have been better though, with some more closure between Dororo and Hiyyakimaru.
Based on the comments I should go for Terror in Resonance now.

Dororo is definitely one of my top favorites, though I will warn you, some of the episodes WILL make you cry and/or sob depending on how sensitive you are

Terror in resonance is a complete stpry in its hole but the death of the main characters felt as if it was added with force if thet would have dued un their last act it would have made more sense its a masterpiece no shot but the death of the charectors felt unnecessary
