you can join a mule player 2 character and drop it and pick it up and save quit then sign out with the main and collect all you want. i got like 50 different mules lol.

It tends to be quicker as if the account is your home console you only get sent to character select instead of having to reload the game. This is very usefull on last gen consoles to save the loading time!
