That’s what I love about NE, wallpaper and carved molding, people don’t do that extra touch anymore
How lovely to know that all that lovely wood has been kept natural and not painted white.
thanks
Incredible home. Love the woodwork.
❤
Beautiful floors
Thanks❤
There's wallpaper and then there's OMG WALLPAPER!!!!
So much character in this home 💗💗💗
thanks
Beautiful home
Years ago, when we went to Maine on vacations, the years of 1967 till 1969, we subscribed to the Down East magazine, in the back of this magazine was the real estate section. Homes with acreage were going for 2,000, even back then, I thought, why so cheap. Prices today as bad as where I live in NJ.
true❤
Back in the 80s Down East magazine did an article on my now deceased great uncle as he was one of the few Mainers still alive at the time that served in both WWI & WW2 and lived to tell about it. One morning upon waking up at 99 years old and getting out of bed his hip broke causing him to fall hitting his head on the corner of the night stand killing him-
Absolutely beautiful!✌️
thank u😍
Amazing home ❤️
Very nice antique house
thanks
why do people not refer to specialists when decorating. mostly, all i see is over the top and/or martha stewart. rarely imaginative.
but good that the house is there and lived in
what a challenge it’d be heating a 220 year old house in Maine during the winter months at these (oil) prices. Curious what the SEER rating is for the house and when the last time the windows and exterior doors were replaced?
all detail is mention in description❤
Where in Maine is this home located? What price is it listed at? Is it still for sale? 4/23/23 @ 12:36 p.m. CST

Belfast Maine
Hope it is not haunted
Sue here: get rid of all the clutter and update to lighter colors!!!
sure
Your remarks are rude. The dark colours and the many details, that you call clutter, go with the vintage of the house. Old homes don't require a minimalist look, walls in light grey and all woodwork painted white.
@@maryoleary2037 thanks❤
That house looks more like 120 years old, not 220.
re-decorated with modern amenities❤
I agree. I doubt if that house is older than c. 1895.
Beautiful house. A bit overpriced though.
potential matters❤
The bare land beneath it would go for a million + in today’s market in that location.

hideous. especially the kitchen, bathrooms, and outside the decks. and reproduction antique furniture. but do like the old heaters, probably original to the house
