I just had my very first Sirens "hey I get that song now" moment last week, and now I think it's the best song anyone has ever written. Although a different song is likely to claim this title next week, and then another song the week after that. Funny how these things work.
Also, as the years go by, I grow more and more fond of Mike's songs. Funny how THOSE things work.

For a couple of weeks now, this pre-chorus has been my favourite pre-chorus of all the pre-chori :)
Also, yes, splitting firewood is so much fun. It makes for a great, free workout as well. We, too, heat our home with wood :)

When I hear them play this song at a show... I may go to the toilet...I don’t know why but something about this song feels off... I think it’s the lyrics not the music that drives me nuts.... and that’s the only negative thing I’ll ever say about anything that Ed Ved does. As always you did a great job. 🐈 🐱
TBH, I feel the same way about Sirens :) It's still a PJ song so it's de facto in my top 500 songs on the planet, but not very high up there. Mike wrote the music yes? did Ed write the lyrics or Mike also?
