An all-in or massive 5 bet pre-flop pretty much announces your hand and he would have achieved no more value than that $5k Mariano raised it to. I think he played it fine. Sorry, but I’m gonna criticize your KK hand. I think the downswing is affecting your brain. You’re playing the standup game. Your opponents are betting wider- in position too. I think there is no shot this isn’t a 5 bet to 21,000 atleast.
@@edwardkain5006 no he most definitely made a mistake. You have to put in context that they are playing with stand-up game. Which means players are going to open up way wider than normal. Standard tournament play or standard cash gameplay I would agree with you, but when the standup game is on. You cannot automatically just put especially a player like Mariano on an ace in that hand.
