Because Rome is not your typical mainstream cash-cow. Unlike Cardi-B, Beyonce, or One-Direction the lyrics are original as opposed to formulaic instant cash machines with clap-tracks. Thus, Rome will probably continue to be an underrated and under appreciated band.

People misunderstand what is said by this song because they misunderstand Fascism. This song, like the rest of the Album, is a tribute to the Revolutionaries of the Endeavor of Fiume. Fascism is not a call to be a sheep, nor does following a Lion make you a sheep. The leftists in this comment section seem to forget that Lions are social creatures, who live in prides and follow the leadership of the best among them. Fascism is a call to be the highest expression of yourself, to seek beauty and heroism, to be, as the Italian passage in the song states "To be a priest/holy soldier, to be a poet, an aviator." To be a free man, a new man.
The call for the recipient to "Go on kneel and weep and join the herd." has to be understood in the context of the lines around it. The Stanza before it "You think yourself weak pathetic and overrun, and that all you've bled for Is coming undone." Addressed to the same recipient as the rest of the song, obviously implies that you are mistaken, that you are not weak, pathetic, and overrun. Thus he is telling you to go kneel and weep etc... as an insult and a call to action, that if you think yourself pathetic and weak, you will only ever kneel as a member of the herd.
This is followed by the next two non chorus stanzas

Obviously this is a call to action to that same person, to not be a sheep, to not think themself pathetic and overrun, and instead to stand up and be a Lion. That we the righteous Lions with drive out the mercantile thieves on a wave of fervor and energy they won't believe. To go out and be a revolutionary as if it were the last one, because it very well might be if you fail.
This section also contains the same passage in Italian as in Sancra Entrata.

A Passage that's about Gabriele D'Annunzio, a Fascist forebear and revolutionary. Placing this here again alongside the call to action puts him as the model you should emulate, a Lion, a free man who stood against the powers of his time. Who with his "roar" dispersed sheep, and in their place made the example for the Lions of the March on Rome just a few years later.
The repetition of the chorus telling you to kneel and weep throughout the song is a reminder of the choice you face, always followed with a reminder ("You know") that if you stand up and be a Lion, you will disperse a million a sheep.
For those who don't know, the Ouroboros (the snake eating itself, as depicted in the video) was a symbol adopted by Gabriele d'Annunzio, and served as the flag of his short-lived state in Fiume.

It's a song for any human that has felt oppressed. And yes it has references to Hitler because he is saying that if we want to avoid a repeat of that type of situation this is what we need to do to avoid it. I've never seen anything in any of their music that promotes hate or violence only self-empowerment empathy and compassion. Their songs are about Europe and Europeans because they are European. 💖😘

I dont necessarily see this song as promotion for nationalism or ethnic uprising, but rather I see this song as a message against those who simply bow down in the face of tyranny; a message against those who do nothing but weep during oppression. As in the chorus "so go ahead and weep" reminds me of those who just sit back, cry, and do nothing against issues. Eventually, no matter how much you cry out, the lion of tyranny will disperse the herd like you with a single roar.

Hint: it's Classical Liberal values like freedom, diversity, liberation of slaves, the defeat of tyrants and not the disgusting slavery and stealth collectivism of the fascist scum.
@@eklipseRomania It's still easy to interpret "Who Only Europe Know" through a nationalist lense. Lines like "Did we not raise our flag over the slavers" can be seen as a defence against the often used accusations of slavery which seem to be reserved exclusively for white people.
If your ideological enmy is collectivism then I don't really know what to tell you, other than sometimes a people has to come together to survive and thrive. And individualism is a historically European concept, not really expounded by the peoples we're being replaced with, who haven't forgotten their sense of collectivism.
As for diversity, countries and continents have built up their own diversity over millenia. To transplant radically different groups from around the world into each others territory is like moving invasive speceis into different ecosystems, and why? All based on the flimsy premise that biology doesn't matter, culture doesn't matter, tradition doesn't matter, and all the different kinds of human being are essentially blank slates that can be moulded into whatever kinds of people you need. Or a completely hypocritical sense that Europeans deserve to have their cultures dispriviliged within their own societies because of colonialism.
