Most of the time I don't like the Shadow and Maria ship because I think of them as siblings, but this comic does it so well that I absolutely love it
True but then again the games never gave us a clear understanding of their relationship.
eh its ok but i still cant get the siblings style out of my head so this is more "eehhhhhh i dunno about 'dis one chief" for me.
One iconic thing of Shadow is the low volume of his voice. I always loved his shy voice, is pretty unique. You must listen carefully to hear what he says.
His voice ain't shy it's just shady and me who has the same problem finds this offensive.

The relationship Shadow and Maria have, is without a doubt the most unbreakable bond, I have ever seen. The way shadow cares for her, and she gives it back but twice as much, is absolutely funny and cute

Those comics have been discontinued at the moment. There’s not much else of them aside from what’s already been dubbed. Finishing this comic was one of the last things the artist, Liyuconberma, did before taking a hiatus if I remember correctly

It’s the same Maria Robotnik! The whole “sibling headcanon” it’s invented by fans who see them that way. But half of the Sonic fandom ships them! Specially in Japan!
In the canon we don’t know the true nature of their relationship except the close friends they were. But she was “the closest thing Shadow ever came to love”. And there’s also huge romantic implications around them since their concept. Shiro Maekawa (their creator) wrote their relationship that way on purpose. He really supports fans shipping them, too! :)
