This song is the reason why I didn't mind being teleported back to beginning of the water temple over and over again. I literally could've just stood there listening this for hours. I didn't since I knew I could just find this on youtube later but it's the thought that counts
I had that several times while playing Zestiria. In terms of gameplay it felt somewhat like a beta which got perfectioned with Berseria, but the OST for fucks sake was one of the best I ever experienced

I loved the Water Temple because 1) It was the only temple that felt like a challenge on itself (The other 3 were easy other than their respective bosses maybe). 2)It felt more complete and longer... you actually feel like in a maze of sorts. The other 3 are very simple when you get to it. 3)The music. I really think the temple they worked on the most was Water... I wish the other temples would have gotten about as much attention as Water Temple. Also: Great music for studying/focusing :D
@@FAH_26 i know this is from a year ago but you actually can quick save inside, just depends where you're standing. I found i couldn't quick save while standing in the doorway, but if i moved a couple steps back I could. I simply cheesed this dungeon because you can do everything right but if you couldn't squeeze in the time the bubble bursts, you have to start over.

It makes me sad that one day, the universe will finally come to an end and all of our accomplishments, all our art, music and history will eventually amount to nothing.

The water shrine trial is the best for me. It's a nice kind of annoying in the sense that it gets easier as you go through it but neither too easy nor too hard that you wanna quit. And yeah, maybe I liked it more becoz of mikleo... Blends with his character... graceful, sophisticated, intelligent but kind and vulnerable too. Like his love for sorey: sometimes antagonistic but unconditional, riddled with trials but enduring... yay, sorry just my opinion...
It took me too damn long to realize there are so many recurring riffs between this and the fire shrines theme. Of course there would be a leitmotif in there, but holy cow it felt AMAZING to make it out at last.
The Trial music is DEFINITELY my favorite!!!!! This one might be my favorite... but it's hard to say! Dungeon was definitely not my favorite though. -.-
I honestly didn't find this dungeon that hard lol. If you're unsure if your bubble will hold for any longer, just pace around on one safe tile till you can reset the bubble again.

Not gonna lie, this song literally saved the water trial. If this song wasn't so amazing this trial would've been super annoying. Needless to say, the Water Trial has a good eye for music.
"oh no,I have to stop and be careful I walk on top of these two tiles with my bubble on ! It is oh so hard to do!" Yeah, totally seeing the intense amount of precision required. They even give you two bloody checkpoints.
I am not sure if you have actually played that part of the game or just saw a walk through. Anyhow, the precision I am referring to it the exact location your character must be standing in order to pass these eye thingies. Your character's toes must slightly through the floor's line, but not any more through or else you will be caught. You can only walk through two blocks at a time, No more (Witch in some rooms you need to remember that due to limited paths.) And finally, Once in the bauble, You must walk in a straight line or else it will pop midway. Now why is this all hard you may ask? Simply put, This part was introduced fairly late in the game. (Almost after 30 hours in my play-through.) And over all that time before and after this part, there was not a single part that required such preciseness in navigation. people would just blindly walk in maps but this time it was much harder thus very annoying.
***** I have played it,in fact. Just recently. Is it a change of pace, yes. Is it overtly annoying? Only if you don't get the hint to take a breather and not plow through the dungeon as usual.

Actually, considering they were acting under the premise that a Seraphim Lord would attempt to purify a Sheperd that strayed rather than just let him wander endlessly as a "test" I say they were mostly in denial. If you want actual pieces of stupidity go farther back to Tales of SYmphonia and Tales of Graces. Even Symphonia's "genius siblings" were so damn idiotic they couldn't catch on the million different slips of the tongue Kratos had through the first half of the game.
LeonGun8 If you listen to the dialogue again, you will notice that they are totally clueless and suprised. I actually never played Symphonia, but I notice this habit of characters that are driven by the plot instead of a character-driven plot way too often in jrpg's. It becomes tedious.

I pointed Symphonia because of a very easily spotted "plot twist" in it where a character ends up being one of the bad guys and through half of the game he literally drops clues in almost every scene that focuses on him. Yet they are totally oblivious to it even though they have 2 characters that are shown to be smart and catch on to small details.
This feels like Mikleo's theme to me, too. Playful and passionate, but cool and composed.

That's how I felt too Chizz, I loved the music and the trial itself overall. Easily one of best areas in the game hands down.

It was frustrating, but that was what made it memorable. Plus, it was actually kinda sad learning about the Shepherd that turned into a Hellion.
The music was the only thing preventing me from going insane.
When I say the same people tell me I'm bragging... most of them think the game was hard... but it's exactly what makes TOZ so memorable.

Water trial theme is my second fave after wind trial theme, I can enjoy and accept the annoying eyes on the wall because of this theme.
