Rick and Caroline had chemistry, the story with Maya was dumb and infuriating. Maya exacerbated Rick’s bad traits, victim complex and pettiness. Caroline was fair and did not manipulate Rick’s weaknesses and dark side to promote herself. Maya started as a two-faced gold digger and no matter what redemption ark the writers conceived, her character was not coming back from that. She was horrible to everyone, including her own sister that she selfishly used to get her “heir/heiress”. Rick was disgusting while he was with Maya. I am glad that ship sunk for good.
