- A few months ago, I completed a challenge where I trained in Jiu-Jitsu for 30 days ↓
• I tried Jiu Jitsu for ...
Since then, I haven't trained much. I had a lot of excuses for why I couldn't before but now that I'm settled here in the Philippines, it's time to start it up again. But this time with gi.
Hope you enjoy!
Comment down below with any other physical challenges you think I should try ✌️ - Zábava
How relevant! I’m coming back to BJJ after a six month hiatus myself and starting with gi classes since they’re free despite preferring no-gi myself. I can’t wait to go back to no-gi in the new year.
Ive fallen in love with all your videos. Keep em comin!!
That’s so cool! I’m inspired to try this now
Great content, I love it, I found because of the jiu jitsu videos, I would like to see more of your journey on this topic 😊 love it
Thank you! :)
That’s awesome!
Don't get fooled guys, she choked the life out of the white belts.. what a BEAST!!! 😤😤😤
😂😂
that looks like such a fun place to train! :)
Luv luv luv from a fellow Filipino BJJ practitioner from Boston 😊
If you are ever in SIARGAO. Catangnan beach dojo is opening soon.
I did a drop in here when I was in Dumaguete. It was nogi night and I prefer training in the gi just cause I love those nasty collar chokes. I'm facing the opposite problem and have no idea how I'm supposed to grip without a gi. I am making the effort to do more nogi training as I feel it would improve my overall game.
That’s fair, I’m sure I would love it too if I knew how to do it 😂 no gi definitely comes with its challenges, that’s great that you’re trying to incorporate it in too though!
I train with the Black Belts from Texas and they are great guys! :) : ) :)
Galing namn 🫡
yoooo its sick
❤
ang galing nice
Any chance we can get on one martial arts training video?Huge fan of bjj, boxing and mauythai
We actually train no gi in Pmg dumaguete, let us know next time you’re here 😁🙏
The gi is a simulation of people’s common clothing, like collars and sleeves.
No its not. Its based on the Attire of old Japan when they actually wore Kimonos outside. So its literally an outdated tradition. If you want to use the real-life argument then we should train in everyday clothes. Only problem is that its not as sturdy and comes off, turning it into NoGi...
If you're going to try wrestling try catch wrestling. It have everything from freestyle wrestling plus submission. Including cross face neck cranks. Or try luta livre ( a Brazilian form of catch wrestling but no pin).
Verdade a luta livre brasileira foi a grande rival do bjj aqui no Brasil os únicos a conseguir êxitos contra os jiu jiteiros
Oss 🤙🤙💪❤️
if sambo was easy it would be called jiu jitsu -khabib nurmagomedov
Bro nobody cares about him anymore. He was a can crusher, fought 3 name worthy opponents, and then ran from the sport. He's one of the whackest champs in UFC history.
do they have any schools that teach Kali in Dumaguete?
I couldn't find one but I'm sure there are individuals who teach!
hey, I'm from Dumaguete, are you still in duma? is tokai jiu jitsu school a good academy?
Hello! I’m not in Duma anymore but I’d highly recommend tokai! The coach is great and everyone is super welcoming and willing to help
nice movement
If you hate the GI try 10th planet jujitsu.
I thought this was a bjj channel :) you move so well on the floor!!
Thank you, I appreciate that 😊
Gud eve faith
in terms for beginners, how does someone win a jiujitsu match?? like, what is the objective
There are point systems if you're competing but in general the goal in the beginning is to not get submitted and eventually be able to tap people out. It's just about figuring out how to move and protect yourself when you start :)
@@faith.lopezz thanks for the response! what does get submitted mean- is that how you lose?
@@saragrey7801 Being submitted means that you have to give up fighting because you have been trapped in a submission hold. Your opponent has got you in a joint lock or a choke and you have to tap out. If you don't tap out you risk injury if you're being held in a joint lock or if you're in a choke hold you may go unconscious.
But there's no winning or losing while training.
Hi are you pinay?
Jiu jitsu sem kimono iguala muito os competidores e quem é mais forte normalmente leva vantagem já pratiquei aula sem kimono porém com kimono pra mim é melhor
Love this! Let’s shoot a collab sometime??
Glad you enjoyed! I'm still here in the Philippines so might be a little challenging 😅
@@faith.lopezz virtual collab! Mind if I shoot you a dm on ig?
How can this not be for you??
Gi isn’t for me but I love no gi! Will definitely keep training that 😄

Love your videos. If you happen to drop by Laguna area PM me for BJJ class 👍
Maybe you should go to Japan and try Karate.
I would love that. I'll add it to the list!
I think you'd find this interesting. Just an insight regarding a beginner getting into bjj into bjj in a Gi versus NoGi czcams.com/video/fre5r2usrl0/video.html start at 45:13
