Though I'm not a F-35 lover, I'm still amazed by the power of this engine. That take off is incredible. So much speed in few seconds, the acceleration is awesome. The Tornado is still incredibly magnificent by today, I love it!

I love the CLEAN look of the F 35 compared to the rest. It looks so smooth and effortless down the runway. Looks like it took a shorter runway than the rest too. F 16 has to use afterburners. Nice video. My bad . Some f 35 did use afterburners

And why are there German aircraft, but the description says that there are only Dutch, Belgian and Norwegian participants in the WIC course? Are the Germans providing instructors and/or agressors?
Yes this WIC was organized by the Dutch Air Force. Also the Germans had their own WIC at Laage. The last 2 weeks of the Dutch organized WIC they combined it with the German WIC at Leeuwarden AB. The last 2 weeks were the exams for the WIC students (Dutch, Belgian and Norwegians, don't know for the German ones). Thanks for watching mate 👍😊
Yes I'm familiar with that roar. Went to RAFG Bruggen station and RAFG Laarbruch back in the 80ties when the RAF Tornaod was stationed overthere. Great fighter plane.

@@32tfs het is inderdaad een fuel dump valve daar. Vreemd dat die tijdens de start wordt gebruikt. Mogelijk een automatisch systeem dat overdruk in de tanks detecteert? Of een defect die het ding even ongewenst open zette natuurlijk.

Without external tanks F35 can easily take off with "military power" that is without after burner. The other similar F35 also did not use afterburner as you may have noticed.

They do, they're just very toned down. You can spot their grey roundels on the intake area.

It is a mountable drag-chute compartment. The Netherlands AF ordered them also for their F35s

Yes that's indeed correct. The reason those 2 F35's used their AB was they had extra weapon load inside of them to carry.
