Dimash does not sign an all-inclusive contract with the music industry. He determines what he sings, wears and does. He doesn't let himself be put in any box and sings from opera to rap. That answers your question as to why he isn't being pushed. The companies don't promote the best as we know. Dimash, a proud Kazakh, had his big start in China. In the meantime, he has fans all over the world and fills big concerts. He is the best of the best.
Honestly, it's better that he stays independent. Record labels control artists and what they can and can't do, plus take way too much of their hard earned money!

Kind, thoughtful, polite, respectful, & nobody owns him. He sings what he wants to, when he wants to, how he wants to, & nobody can dictate to him as he does not sign contracts.
He sells out concerts worldwide, donates many of the proceeds to purchase medical equipment, help disaster areas, & many more that are never bragged about.
Dimashali is his production company he owns, along with his parents, most of the backing musicians/singers are family & friends.
He is also hilariously funny, but is a different person on stage where his parents don't recognise the explosion he is!

Plus his use of different ethnic colours makes him that much more impressive!!! So he can take a song to whatever heights it needs to emote any song on stage….he is the song pretty much!
Dimash started his musical journey at the tender age of 2. His parents are in the music industry, mom is an opera singer, soprano, and dad did more contemporary singing. Also he was the cultural director in the city of Aktobe, Kazakhstan. He basically used to run up on stage to be with his parents at the end of the show and his love of the stage was born. Of course he had classical training starting at the age of 5, where they learned he had perfect pitch. He plays lots of instruments and sings in many languages. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and his English has become conversational. His Chinese still needs work. He has 2 bachelors degrees, one in Bel Canto (opera style singing) and another in pop/ jazz vocals. He has a masters degree in musical composition and working on his doctorate. Which we all believe it should be soon. He will turn 30 this year. Dimash is the nicest person on the planet. Respectful, loving, giving and humble. His fans are called Dears, Dimash named us himself. Well welcome to the journey that is Dimash.

You’re right. There are many mysteries on this planet, and many things that are just flat out wrong and unfair. And the fact that he is not known in America for example, as he should be, is practically a sin. But I have determined or surmised that he is carefully plotting and planning his Eventual overnight success in America. It may happen with David Foster, and it may happen with another record producer such as Walter Afonasief. But we must be patient and understanding because the American music industry can be very fickle and possessive of their American singing celebrities. Once he hits the American music scene with whatever debut song he offers, he will leave all the other singing celebrities way behind.
Dimash isn't underrated. He is not well known in the West due to his family's choices. . ❤

Excellent reaction, thank you! I am 73, and have been a fan of Dimash’s for seven years. There is no one like him in history. Almost everyone cries when they hear him. He says he embodies the emotions in a song and then conveys them to an audience. He looks upon that as his responsibility to God, his parents, and humanity - to connect with and uplift people. And he is the kindest, most generous and approachable person you could ever meet. I’m finally going to my first live concert in Budapest in May. Others have said that they live in an alternate universe of bliss for weeks afterwards. 😊 ❤

I just watched our dear Dimash crack your heart open there. Good reaction. Yes, he has a bedrock of natural talent (and famous singer parents) but it *is* mostly hard work, 2-3 hours vocal training a day most days since age 5, plus hours more in instruments and composition. He's 30 this year. We call him possibly the greatest singer in the world for a reason! He is famous worldwide now, and people fly in to hear him sing. Trust me, if you get the chance, mortgage the house if necessary and go see him in person. Worth it.

Dimash is recognized worldwide by top music professionals as probably the greatest singer/performer the world has ever seen. He has 2 music degrees and is completing his doctorate in music composition. He plays multiple instruments, sings so far in around 15 different languages in every style from classical to rap. He's a superstar in China, Russia and many other countries and fills out stadiums all over the world. In fact people fly in from all over the world to see him, every time he arrives at an airport Dears (fans) present him with flowers. He sings from bass baritone to soprano 7 octaves and has hit a whistle note higher than Mariah Carey live in concert.

What I also really like with him is how his video clips and live performances are identical. We've grown accustomed to that just not being the case in the world of music. They fancy up video clips productions with all sorts of post work that could never be done live you think and it's true you conclude when you hear the live performance which may not be bad but is definitely different.

When you view a video like The Story of One Sky if it were any other artist - anyone at all - you'd know there's just no way they will do that live. The live version is actually gonna be a different song, some sort of interpretation of it that they can do.
And then you watch the Almaty concert fancam video and it's like... yup, of course; exactly the same, because Dimash.

I can't begin to tell you what a small piece of a very large iceberg this is, but I am sure others have tried to do so. As a matter of fact, Dimash is known by some folks in virtually every country on earth but has widespread fame in only a very few of them. As for why not, I think a lot of that is on Dimash himself since he has refused to sell his soul to major record companies and prefers to be an independent producer of his own music so that he has the freedom to be as complex and creative as he chooses to be. And much as it would make we fans happy if he were known by every person on Earth, we have learned to be fine with his decisions in that regard.
I think that's fantastic! I cover a lot of independent artists, and they've all figured out that not being signed to a label is actually much more advantageous for them. No label telling them what to do! That is what most artists need to do! Thankfully, we get to see him thanks to technology!

Miło widzieć Twój zachwyt. U nas mówi się, że było to "uderzenie pioruna". Witaj w świecie nieopisanych emocji. Dimash to POKORNA, współczująca DUSZA, OGROMNA pracowitość, TALENT i wielonarodowa grupa fanów w wieku od kilku do kilkudziesięciu lat. 6 miesięcy temu CZcams pokazał mi Opera 2 w wykonaniu Dimasha. To była muzyczna miłość od pierwszego usłyszenia. Później było SOS i Historia jednego nieba - według mnie ARCYDZIEŁO. I wtedy zrozumiałam, że dożyłam (mam 68 lat) epoki, w której jeden człowiek Dimash - jego MUZYKA i CZŁOWIECZEŃSTO mogą zjednoczyć ludzi różnych narodów, ras, religii dla pokoju na świecie. Pozdrowienia z Polski.

I’ve been to three Dimash overseas concerts Latvia, Dubai, Turkey and my fourth to be Budapest in May. I’m a U.K. lady of 79. Can’t stop watching Dimash. He is a respectful, humble, educated, hard working humanitarian, passionate about his country and world peace. Try Stranger from New Wave 2021 which is in English and epic.

You're right; He IS The Best of The Best. Literally the GOAT. Dimash is world renowned. He has millions of fans from every country and his concerts sell out in minutes. People travel to wherever he is performing, just to experience, if only once in their lifetime, the wonder of hearing Dimash Live. Established vocal coaches are coming out now internationaly and talking about how he is changing our understanding of what the human voice is capable of. Many are saying; 'We now have to talK about singing 'Before The Time of Dimash' and 'Post'... That's how important an artist this is.
Why haven't you heard of him before? Because the Western Music Industry, for decades now, has been heavily weighted against non-english artists, and is locked into heavilly marketed and narrow genre specific 'lanes'. Dimash likes to explore creatively across all genres - and does. He also sings and composes in over 16 languages - including English.
( We have to remind ourselves, from time to time, that only 17% of the worlds population speaks English. But 100% speak 'Music, The Language of the Soul! 😊

Widely recognized as a genius in music AND in business ".. Hello. Congratulations for this reaction and welcome to the wonderful world of Dimash. Dimash is a 29 year old singer, almost 30, who comes from Kazakhstan. This song made him known around the world when he participated in a competition in China in 2017 called The Singer. This song was the first he sang during this competition which lasted several weeks. He sang this song several times, all similar but different at the same time and, in my opinion, I prefer the 2018 one at Slaavic Bazar.
And, in my humble opinion, what he shows in this song is only 10% of what he is capable of doing.

Dimash is able to sing at least 15 different languages, he only speaks a few (Kazakh, Russian, English, Mandarin), he plays 7 or 8 different instruments, he is able to dance (he is a fan of Mickael Jackson, we can see him during some of his performances), he is capable of being a very good actor as we can see in some of his lives, he also composes his songs but above all he is a Performer who raises his songs to the firmament to make us feel all the emotions he wants to share with us.

Dimash is considered by many to be the best singer-songwriter in the world and, personally, I agree. It's hard for me to listen to other people sing besides him to this day. I discovered him in January 2017 and since then I can only appreciate his talent and the evolution he has had over all these years even more.
You should know that his parents are also singers, they also made an appearance during his concert in Bastau 2017. Dimash has been singing since he was very young, 2 or 5 years old depending on the person and that he has followed classical training throughout of his years, that he won multiple competitions, but that it was especially his performances during his appearance in China for The Singer competition that began to make him known worldwide. And even if today he is better known in China than elsewhere in the world, he has a fanbase in more than a hundred countries and Dimash calls his fans "Dears".
Since The Singer competition, he has done multiple concerts in Kazakhstan, China, London, New York, Düsseldorf, Prague, Dubai, Hong Kong and his next concert is in Budapest in 2024.
In addition to being this talented performer, he is also someone humble, respectful, proud of his origins and his country, but above all seeking to work for peace among peoples. He was even welcomed a few months ago into the UN offices in Geneva.

His vocal chords are something he was born with. But I bet many people have similar bodies without knowing it. But the things he does with his vocal chords come from insane amounts of work. He has been practicing multiple hours daily for decades. And he is only 29.

He has a 7 octave range and sings in multiple languages as well as playing a number of musical instruments. He was accepted into the major opera house in Kasachstan, his home country but decided to pursue his own invention of a neo-classical + pop genre. There is literally nothing he can't do - from MJ pop style, rap, jazz skatting, romatic crooning and pure opera. To add just a little...Dimash will be 30 in May. He was born with music in his veins. He started studying musc at 5 yrs. oldHe is classicly trained and and also studied other genras. Right now i would venture to say that country is about the only genre I havent heard him do. Not only is he the besr singer/entertainer I have heard, but he is also an incredible man.
