Thanks for the video. It was still a pain on the ass to remove that c clip. Ended up ripping it off with a small flat head. Fortunately stream light had sent me extras.
Anybody have issues with the staccato CS? I’m using all the parts correctly and tighten it down and it still flies off. There has to be an aftermarket key somewhere
For clarity will this allow me to swap a “sig” tlr7 sub to a 1913 version? Or is this just how to adjust the different keys within the 1913 versions packaging?
This is only for swapping the rail keys within a single version of the light. To go from "Sig" to "1913" you would need a new pair of rail clamps Streamlight.
Dude I just got a TLR 9 and the instructions are so unclear, wish I would have found this video earlier. The little retainer pin and the "insert/remove" thingy was so confusing
So can I remove the rail key entirely and then use it's with my stock sig p365 frame and then add the 1913 key to use it with a different frame that has a 1913 rail key?
No, the rail key is only PART of the assembly. The size and shape of the rail clamps on each side are different from model to model. You can't use the 1913 rail clamps on the Sig proprietary rail.
@@HenryHolsters damn it oh well guess whenever my Icarus precision grip module comes in I'll be getting a new light too sucks cuz I already bought the light but I guess it doesn't hurts to have 2 of the same light's 😕
@@HenryHolsters I need the same key. So when I contact stream light customer support do I call them before or after I have ordered? Or will they send me just the key?
Great video. To the point with no bullshit 🙌🏻 I wish more creators would follow your lead!
Thank you! I have no idea why they don’t even include a graphic of what to do on the bag but I’ve been going nuts trying to find directions for this.
Definitely a needed upgrade. Awesome job 👍👍

Does your TLR7 Sub sit crooked in the pistol frame? Take a look at how the light lines up with your trigger guard.
Man I have a new trl 8ag and didn't know how to install the dang e clip. Thanks bud!

1913 or hellcat version?
Is it necessary to have a key on the light in order to use it? I have an S&W SW9VE which has a smooth surface (no slot rail slot)

@@HenryHolsters thank you for clearing this up for me! Are rail clamps available on stream lights website?
@@TheVisualVanguard You'll have to contact Streamlight CS. I don't believe they are available for retail sale on their site.
@@HenryHolsters ok thanks for the info!
@@TheVisualVanguard if you contact strsmlight they may just send them to you for free
So I have the Glock 43x with a gr43 recover rail. Would I need to get the key swap to make it fit, because the tlr7 won’t fit on the rail right now
None of our holsters are compatible with Recover Tactical rail adaptors, no matter which key is in use.
Hi, would you happen to know what size e clip the TLR-7 Sub uses? Need replacements
Contact Streamlight CS.
Thanks for the video!

@@devalishxb91Also, your Icarus grip module will likely not be compatible with most Kydex holsters for the P365. It doesn't fit anything we make.
i do not have that little retaining clip on my light.. is it a big issue or should i be fine without it?
You should be fine.
Where do you buy the keys? Looking for #5 for tlr-7 sub for hellcat pro
Contact Streamlight customer service directly and ask for the key you need.
@@HenryHolsters I need the same key. So when I contact stream light customer support do I call them before or after I have ordered? Or will they send me just the key?
@@BlueCollarHauler I don't know exactly how they'll handle it. I would contact them first before ordering a holster.
@@HenryHolsters Would the TLR7 sub fit a Canik Mc9? Does it come with everything I need?
@@TacticalandThings I don't have an MC9, so I can't answer that definitively.
Perfect
Hello, In regards to the mini clip, the tool you used, were did you get it from?
It was included with the light when I bought it from Streamlight...
@@HenryHolsters okay appreciate it🤙🏽, waiting on mines to come in.
hi, where can i find that remover?
Should have come with your light.
A+
No need for the spring?
Did you watch the video? I clearly remove and reinstall the spring. It's important. Don't lose it.
@@HenryHolsters thanks
What iif I wanted to add loctite
My fucking light doesn’t have a retaining clip god I hate my life
