  • This episode is all about NORTHERN PIKE, when we visit three incredible lodges from Sunset Country to Northeastern Ontario!
Wilderness North. Fly-in fishing is always a treat. Especially when it's a 26,000-acre lake full of hungry walleyes and big pike! For this adventure, we boarded a plane in Armstrong Station and headed to Striker's Point Lodge on Whitewater Lake in Ontario's Sunset Country.

Lodge Eighty Eight. "The MacLachlan family has been operating Lodge Eighty Eight for almost 60 years! Ian MacLachlan built Camp 88 in 1959 and, over the years, it has expanded. You can stay in one of three large, beautiful cabins or the authentic upright log suites of the Eagle's Nest, which is where we stayed. You can choose the ultimate in pampering via their American Plan or the freedom of their Deluxe Housekeeping Plan. The spacious cabins are great for larger groups and the rooms of the Eagle's Nest accommodate small families or groups of two perfectly! Located in Ontario's Algoma Country" Host Troy Lindner

Kesagami Wilderness Lodge. Trophy pike and award-winning BBQ ribs! Yes, this is Kesagami Wilderness Lodge, located in the sub-arctic Kesagami Provincial Park. One of the most interesting facts is that the giant lake averages only seven feet deep, but is home to pike OVER 50" and tons of 40-inchers!

I'm sorry to hear that. This is largely going to depend on your budge and the type and quality of fish that you're interested in catching. Numbers or trophies? Walleye? Smallmouth? Pike? Fly in? Drive to?
I would recommend watching this channel's extensive list of recommendations and then coming up with a game plan based on your needs.
I just got back from Hawk Lake Lodge in Ontario. Extremely high end. Pricy but worth every penny.
If you are interested in lower cost chasing of walleye, you can go to Dogtooth Resort (which is very close to Hawk Lake).
      Be well! God bless.
