Working at a volvo dealer i am furious at what they did for the 2023 model year. Gone is the familiar momentum, r-design, inscription naming in favors of this confusing and very bland new naming scheme. 2022s are the last year to get IMO before EVs take over. Personal favorite of the Sensus infotainment over the new google system as well
i’m so glad i was able to get a new volvo before the google switch-over. sensus is superior in aesthetics and usability. there are weird gaps in the google operating system
Good to know. Also 2022 has the refreshed design. I prefer sensual to google. I have a 2018 s90 and it's been great so far but yeah what's with the brakes lol
They are great cars, but their only weak spot are the brakes. We have a 2020 Volvo S60, and the rotors have to be replaced every 5-10K miles. A few hard stops at higher speeds, and they are toast. Otherwise, excellent car.
I have a 2020 S90 R-Design…such a phenomenal car EXCEPT for the tragic, over-boosted I4 power train. It’s the T6 with the Polestar tune, yet it’s unrefined and “surgey” with its power delivery. Such a letdown on an otherwise great sedan in virtually every other way.
The S90 is such an underrated luxury sedan.
