I fought my second lynel yesterday and he did it three times. Usually when I far away in order to recollect myself. It was stressful to say the least
I feel that you missed a very important part of the Lynel's abilities, this being the explosion. If any bokoblin were to enter a wide radius if the lynel's area they would die within seconds. Also if too many bokos were to gather around the Lynel at once they would bump into each other.
TLDR: It would take alot more bokoblins.
This made me wonder if Bokoblins could take down any Hinox, Talus, or Moldulga's.
I don't think they would be smart enough to know where to hit on a Talus and even think to climb it

How many stone taluses would we need to kill dark beast ganon? Maybe? No? Okay
After seeing all the homemade weapons the enemies carry i was curious how the weapons are made. Boko weapons are very crude but how do Lizal type and especially the Lynel type are made. Is there some sort of enemy armory and forge or what?
Yeah that is reasonable, but i would think that the minimum would be around 85 instead of 97 because:
1. There's no doubt that some bokoblins would get face shots which not only give crits for double damage, but if made during an attack will incapacitate the lynel for a short time, thus allowing the bokoblins to get more hits in.
2. At least 40 bokoblins would get 4-5 hits in and at least 5 would get 6-7 hits.
3. The last thing i will say is that bokoblins can hold special arrows like bomb arrows which makes missing way harder because of the explosion.
(I dont mean anything by this, i just want to share information)
This is not including crits but I made half of the army hit 4 and 2 hitting 6 times all with bomb arrows in this case they would need 26 bokobs
If we only change the formula so that they have bomb arrows they would have to have 32
Different amount of arrows shot and bomb arrows=26

Just wanted to say that in master mode I have encountered Bokoblins with a Mighty Lynel Bow. So that would help them a lot as well.

Hey. I have an idea for a video: how much adrenaline does link have/what is inside link?
In the champions Ballad DLC you can read champion diaries, and In Daruk’s diary, it is mentioned that link told daruk that he feels like he has so much concentration in battle that the world around him slows down, implying that the flurry rush is merely made of links thoughts and is not a legitimate way for anyone, normal hylian or monster to fight with. In order to achieve this slowed state, link probably has something highly supernatural, either in his thoughts or in how much chemicals he generates out of pure excitement and addiction while in combat. Something has to be behind this, and maybe you can figure it out.

@@mrmoonlighter3272 thats most definitely not possible. remember, this diary was written at least 100 years before the events of BoTW, so that means Link already had the flurry rush effects before he slept for 100 years.

You should redo these types of videos now that we havw TOTK. Not only are all the enemies upgraded in some way, but with muddle buds we can actually make them fight.

The bokoblin with a melee weapon on horseback is cake because when the monster gets close you hit the horse with your spear. The horse will throw the bokoblin off.
What if the bocoblins had ancient arrows?
I'd like to see a Lynel vs. a Guardian.
The result of 97 only applies if the bokoblins attack one at a time, or if you had 97 bokoblins which shot their respective shots and killed the lynel instantly.
If we were to say that 1 attack from a bokoblin takes the same time as killing 1 mokoblin by the lynel, then you would need roughly 24 bokoblins to kill 1 lynel.
At the start, they would fire 24 arrows each dealing 24 damage, then 1 bokoblin would die, so the next round they would fire just 23 arrows, etc.. To deal at least 7000 damage, you need a minimum of 24 bokoblins then.
This obviously only applies if the bokoblins are spread out and the lynel can take them just 1 at a time, and the attack rate of both races is the same.
Need to see this in Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. 😆
I think it would be sick if Nintendo added agro mechanics to enemies in BoTW2. How funny would it be to just see a camp of Bokoblins all get pissed at each other because one of them accidentally missed their rock throw at Link

Fun fact: if you use stasis on a bokoblin riding a horse the horse will continue to walk away and when the stasis runs out, the bokoblin will drop to the ground
To kill a lynel with red bokos. you need 55,000 red bokoblins. with blue ones you need
47,022 blue bokoblins. with black ones you need 35,149 black bokoblins. with silver/white ones you need 672 silver/white bokoblins. with FREAKING GOLDEN ONES
you just need 50 or 5.
A better way would be an ambush in a valley. By repeatedly shooting one while above one, the bokoblins may have a chance with less of them.
There's one factor you missed when computing numbers about the bokoblin horse archers: It's not linear.
If the bokoblins space themselves correctly, then the first one will get 3 shots off before he's killed, but the second one will get six shots off, the third one nine... until we reach the limit of how many bokoblin horse archers can engage the lynel simultaneously (while hopefully staying out of big-fiery-explosion range).

I think the last calculation is wrong because if you attacked the lynel with a boko, 1 at time then yes, but if you throw them all at the same time at the lynel, then each boko would get 3 more hits with each boko getting killed/hit, because it gives the others more time. There might be some times when the 2nd and 3rd arrow of the multistage bow might hit another boko, but that is unlikely

I'm sorry but i will have to correct you on your math. TLDR; 14 Bokoblins would be enough.
You cannot flat out say each bokoblin fire off three shots before dying if they attack as a group. Aside from the fact that a lynel most likely could hit small groups with their multi-arrow bows, the match should be more like this (overly simplified): first bokoblin dies after firing off 3 shots, lets assume they all hit. second will also fire off 3 shots before the first dies, then another 3 before he dies himself. Similar, third bokoblin fires off 6 shots by the time the first 2 dies, then another 3 before he dies. Meaning just 3 bokoblins would hit the lynel 18 times, not 9, before dying.
You can continue down this way, with fourth getting off 12, fifth getting off 15, sixt getting off 18, 7th 21 and 8th 24; now we are suddenly up to 108 hits instead of 24.
9th Bokoblin fires off 27 and 10th fires off 30 by the time they die. Now we have a total of 165. 11th would fire off 33 (total 198), 12th 36 (234), 13th 39 (273) and 14th 42 (total 315).
Meaning a group of 14 Bokoblin all moving simultaneously and being targeted one by one rather than clumping up in a ball and being smashed instantly would win the archer battle versus the lynel. That is also the whole point of having a number advantage in a fight, and why a small group of solidiers need to use choke points to even out that (force a 1-on-1 fight, so to speak). My calculations are also based on the bokoblins hitting every shot, the lynel hitting one bokoblin at a time at a fixed interval and they have an open area to circle and shoot at the lynel with noone being out of range.
Horses is very op when attacking a lynel because if you jump off you can use bullettime

This sort of makes me wonder; how does the Lynel's attacks, particularly AoE attacks, shake this up? How quickly will he kill multiple horses, or even Bokos, while the fight ensues? Will either the gold Lynel or Gold Bokoblins get to regenerate, since they imply Master Mode? I know it's a lot of what ifs, but I can see him slamming his weapon into the ground, loosing a massive explosion, and possibly felling several horses, or riders. Since I think Bokos are limited in how good a horse the game "allows" them to catch and use, they might not have horses with the highest hit points, allowing the Lynel's AoE attacks to wreck them, and leave the injured Bokos on foot.

If you just have like 10 bokoblins strategically placed landing head shots, a swarm of melee bokoblins can geta couple of hits each and score a kill easily.
it would probably take less bokoblins than you suggested, since the lynel can only deal with so many bokoblins at a time, the ones he isn't preoccupied with would be able to get more hits in. the result in the video is more akin to a lynel having to fight that many individual bokoblins in a row rather than a whole group of them at once.
let's take a 100% ranged battle on both ends with the bokoblins successfully keeping their distance, for simplicity (and since in a ranged battle, the lynel can only kill one bokoblin at a time). there just need to be enough bokoblins so that their collective damage output is high enough that the lynel doesn't have enough time to kill all of them before its hp reaches 0, accounting for the fact that the boko's damage output will decrease each time a bokoblin dies.
let's still say they each get 3 hits in before one of them dies, like you suggested in the video. this means each bokoblin gets 72 damage off per 'turn' (a turn being them attacking, then the lynel. i'm assuming they ambush the lynel because it gives them the best odds) and at the end of each 'turn' their numbers decrease by 1.
here's an equation:
72(b * t - t) >= 7000
b = initial number of bokoblins
t = turns
(t is subtracted because the lynel kills one bokoblin per 'turn', so for each turn you need to subtract 1 bokoblin. t*1=t, so t is subtracted. if the lynel killed 2 bokoblins per turn, the equation would be 72(b * t - 2t) >= 7000)
if the expression is true (the result is equal to or greater than 7000), the bokoblins kill the lynel
since were trying to find the minimum number of bokos it would take to kill a lynel, with no restrictions regarding how many bokos need to survive, the number of turns can be equal to our number of bokos
by my calculations, it would probably only take a minimum of 11 well trained, strategized bokoblins to kill a lynel... but they would all die except for one. in order to kill a lynel with no boko deaths (in 1 turn), they could do it in a 99-bokoblin ambush
this is of course under the assumption that they and the lynel land every, but i have no desire to make the equation more complicated with percentages and stuff so i'll leave it as is
oh, and the video doesn't factor in critical hits, so i didn't either, but that would cut the number down even further

edit: oh, also cant bokoblins technically pick up and use any bow? they spawn with boko weapons, but if they were to arm themselves with stronger bows somehow that would also improve their chances

@@Mernusify oh thanks for pointing that out, my bad. i redid the math with 7500, the first answer is still 11 (the total dmg output of 11 bokoblins is 7,920, with 10 being 6,480 so both 7000 and 7500 take the same amount of bokos), but for no deaths they would need 106, rather than 99

Imo one of the biggest miss opportunities in the game was the lack of tricking or getting different monster types to agro and fight each other.

You would need more than 100 Bokoblins to kill a Gold Lynel. Since Gold Lynels are only in Master Mode, they'll have regenerating health. Granted, if 100 archers on horseback doing 24 damage for each hit are consistently firing, it will whittle down the Lynel's health quickly, but the rate at which Bokoblins fire is relatively slow. I would bump that up to 150 archers, perhaps, to ensure enough damage is being done to help offset the health regeneration.
maybe it's fun to make a video for the possible dlc characters in hyrule woriors aoc because the dlc is coming out soon. a top 5 possible characters that are not yet in the game.

One lynel can only shot one bokoblin every three hit. Meaning, they lose one bokoblin every 3 hit, meaning your calculation isn't good.

but gold bokoblins have a 1080 hp and a base attack of 48 assuming all the bokoblins are gold and there is one red lynel they should be able to beat the lynel much easier there also could be some melee bokoblins carrying a max attack dragonbone moblin bat while some other bokoblins are on horse back shooting with max lizalfos bows as they can have those. Against a red lynel it should now be a bit easier for them.
Bokoblins can hold mighty lynel bows but only in master mode. I seen a bokoblin on lake Hylia that has a might lynel bow with bomb arrows on top of a flying platform
With the number you came up with I did the math for golden bokoblin horse archers and it would take roughly 32 to kill a golden lynel
Edit: but if you want to get technical because golden bokoblins have about 1,000 ho it would be more like 12 to kill a golden lynel.
The boko’s would win eventually with melee but they’d end up on the endangered list they would win by throwing millions of themselves at the lynel until it grew tired and weak then they’d beat it to death when its helpless and cant even lift its sword
These are video game enemies, they don’t grow tired, but some will get chip damage in, so the millions thing is still correct
