My guess is it's a S&S motor... probably 110 cube..notice he is working the choke to keep it running at the start so for sure it's no '03 engine. It sure runs nice and those are great pipes, and big cams. I have a '96 Fat Boy that sounds alot like this... lots of engine work... ; )
"Masturbation" for the ears its amazing how it can idle for so long and then you walked up and goosed the throttle and there was no cough or splutter it just ran as smooth as a cat pissing on a glass coffee table :) :):) In the wind brother ride free and easy :)
They sound like they are going to stall because the owners set the idle too low to get that thump. Its bad for the lower end as well as the charging system. They haven't really leaked oil in a long time. They are a great choice if you like American motorcycles.

03 had carbs dude.. they had them thru 04. My 04 softail had a stock carb..
