Put some dry ice in random areas of the swimming pool to give that smoke foggy look for your party. You can order a drop off for that day. U will love it. It will really make your house look haunted and set the tone for out door. And do a fire pit in back yard area with s'mores station.

Rather than hanging the projector from the ceiling fan, you may want to set it on a pedestal or table on your second floor landing and point it downward. That way you can switch the lighting angle (having the web over the whole floor, over a white wall, towards the windows, etc.) without too much hassle.

You could line those dollar tree bowls with tissue paper to keep things from going through the holes.
