I wish I'd appreciated her more when I was a young guy. It was old people's music to us 60s teens. It took some maturity to understand what she was doing.
It takes too long to learn to live alone was the song from Peggy Lee that touched my heart, but I like them all she was great and I saw her in person in The Okeffe Center of Toronto, she wore two dresses the first one blue and the second part of the show a red one when she sang Fever,
Oh, Norma. Love U forever. Such a talent and class. Du bar med deg den scandinaviske ånden i det du gjorde. Den var over hele deg.Musikalitet og humor. Skål for deg! Vi glemmer deg aldri!
If you know her personal history, this was a woman with incredible drive and guts. Today(2/6/22)CBS Sunday Morning had a great feature about Peggy, done by MO Rocca.
Now I see by the light of my CZcams. I am seriously impressed. The poor side has little or no respect for anything but there own. Like tunnel vison the poor side has a DARK quality. Empathy is quite enjoyable as sung in a Peggy Lee song. Charlie Rose, looking like a Stuffed Suit in a wave of soupy sales. Kindness counts! Publix Loyalty> until the End of Time. @@jacquelinepaul9731 I think what @john meant was the song "Is That All There Is?" poses that question. I could add, also Sinatra's "I'm A Fool to Want You."

A brilliant artist. One of the best.

You took the words!! I am listening to Peggy Lee all these years later and can finally appreciate the breadth of her talent.
I'm 26 and I wish I could've seen her performing live. She's just a legend.
Same with me... but we have an incredible body of work to enjoy!
SHE HAD A MASSIVE HIT IN THE 60s. “ IS THAT ALL THERE IS … BREAK OUT THE BOOZE AND HAVE A BALL”
@@Matheus.BarbosaTOTALLY TALENTED! SHE COULD SING ANYTHING!

PEGGY IS LIFE!!!
First time seeing Peggy speak and she’s such a grounded personality…
So glad to see this thanks for posting.
Whoa, that Billie Holiday voice was amazing. One can tell Peggy was a fan, as well as a true talent herself.
So beautiful and intelligent lady! And her voice is still amazing!!

I love listening to her recording of “Where or When” with Benny Goodman recorded two weeks after Pearl Harbor. She and Goodman were magical.
She was so magical. I am mesmerized by what she does with her hands
I saw her hold court at various hotel club rooms. Wonderful talent
You're a lucky guy. I wish I was old enough to have seen her live.
Peggy is so awesome. I love her song Is that all their is.
Only wish they had had more time. Thank you for posting this great interview. Peggy Lee was a true great.
Peggy deserves at least an hour interview if not more.......are u kidding?
It would have been nice if Rose would have shut up and let Miss Lee finish her stories. Miss Lee was such a talent!
Went to see Pegala at the Hilton’s Club 53 and she was exquisite 🤗
I was there too ...
She’s wonderful , inside & out! Wish I could have grew up in the 50’s ❤
Love ! She wasn't always in good health yet kept going ! xx
There are song stylist; singers, performers....few are artists
She was amazing
Peggy Lee is one of the best there ever was....BUT, the sound on this is very low!

She addresses the #1 Conundrum of life; "Is sex love?" Amazing.
When did she say that please ?

Peggy is looking great here.
She looks like she got a face transplant.
@artery And trying time look like she was in her 20’s.

What on earth are you talking about she looks fantastic
I wish that interviewer would just stop cutting her off
..what a "rich" wise Peggy Lee. No attitude to (Maria Carey are you reading this?) clutter her artistic merit.
Still a hot looking lady,wow.❤
Is that all there is?
Why don’t do you do right?
The interviewer could get over his ego and let Peggy speak.
Let her talk. Questions were a bit over the top. Trade in your voice? No!!
"IS THAT ALL THERE IS"!!!!
@#$%^&?...!!! ha
She should of dropped the bleaching of the hair later in life , never looks good on older women
I think she might be wearing a wig.
