SCOTT IS A BRILLIANT VET , HE IS VERY ON TOP OF HIS GAME AS FAR AS SURGERY GOES .
Also needs to be more careful when he is around his lamps
He conked his head once
The black lab reminded my of my aunts old Labrador, he passed away from cancer. Miss him
I see teen ferrets trying the "there gonna die though" excuse on their parents lol
Jessie & Oliver were so ADORABLE!!! Oliver was so happy, loving, & silly. đđ
one of the white ferrets shoulda been name Draco. after all, he was an ""amazing bouncing ferret.
I was just about to say. What a missed opportunity đ
@Nico Caydenmok
I used to work at a place that had a ferret it was a white one I named Draco But it was renamed and it was a girl but I didnât know it was a girl
"Technically, it's a feret!"
Oliver is darling, I have a real soft spot for Yorkies. Our Snoopy was a Yorkie and was a very happy and affectionate boy. We still miss him.
First clip is like "an australian, an american and a brit walks in to a bar..." đ
Hahah
đ
And for some reason a Yorkshire terrier
Haha
I must admit -- Dr. Scott is my favorite vet on this show.
Totes! Heâs the real deal.đâ€ïžđđ§
He cares so much about all of his patients! Love him
@@jaydiarie fuzzy and human. Look back on some older shows -- he sometimes gets a little silly; that just makes it better.
I AGREE Silver Turtle , he is lovely his wife is a lucky lady to have a husband like posting from LONDON ENGLAND
Amy late parents had a little dog like that with a silky coat
Two thumbs up for Laura right away. Sheâs the best kind of pet owner there could be. Having vasectomies for her little men was pramount. Go Laura!đ„łđžđŒđđœđđ
The smart thing would be fixing all of them, not just the males. Female ferrets should absolutely be spayed as well.
@@bearswithglasses True enough. I've had ferrets in the past, and all of mine were neutered or spayed. Male ferrets lose a lot of their muskiness when neutered. I don't think a vasectomy would help with that since they still have their testosterone. (Jan Griffiths).
Ahh, little Oliver with his tongue out was so cute!
Such compassionate and hard working vets and everyone at the office! Thank you,! â€ïž
I live in Wyoming, USA and I think you all are SPECIAL PEOPLE!! The best Vet Show there is đ
One state south of you, and I agree. ; )
Why are the surgeries cut off? Itâs one of the most interesting part of the show, and one learns soo much. Could you please include them again?? Really love the show. Thank you.
Man, Iâm always a nervous wreck now when they are going to do surgery. Iâm always scared they arenât going to make it through. đŁ
Oliver is so ridiculously cute!
It sucks that CZcams doesnt allow the surgeries. It always feels so jolting when it cuts!
they used to just censor and i miss that. they cut out any during surgery interviews as well when they just chop the whole thing.
I agree. The cuts are so irritating because you miss part of the story.
In some of the coast to coast Bondi episodes they show some of the surgeries
It is really annoying that they donât show it here
@@horsesforever1093 i wondered why bondi gets away w it and not voth
@@jaydiarie i do too
Look at Lil Oliver back with his Mommy and Daddy.
I love that in the long run Oliver will run.
Ferret pickup lines must be hilarious...
My mom's chihuahua had luxating patellas when she was around 4 years old. She had one knee repaired and 6 weeks later she needed the other knee repaired. She's almost 11 now and has some stiffness and a little arthritis in her knees but she's doing well!
Dr.Scott is my favorite
Dr. Scott is an amazing carer and he is so caring and comforting and kind. Jesse I am praying for your complete recovery.
Who knew ferrets were so complicated XD
My little girl passed almost a month ago. I miss my Bailey. Yorkies are one of the sweetest dogs ever.
After 17 years my little Yorkie passed away last year!! He was the best dog!!
@@TravelwithTasha393 I'm sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss. (Jan Griffiths).
The first little dog.....omg! If I were a dog, no one would want me. I would stay crying out in pain I donât take pain well. đ
If the pain is more or less constant one gets used to it. It just makes you more tired.
Went through what he is going through. Eventually you don't notice.
so a husky(the most dramatic of dogs)?
Oh my gosh! At 21:15 When the ferret Harry licks his lips and his little tongue sticks way out the side of his mouth and you can hear his little mouth open itâs ridiculously cute!đâ€ïžđ
Great show, Dr. Scott is the best. I can't believe he has to go up and down steep stairs to get to his surgery.
I feel bad for Oliver. I personally went through that with both of my knees. The surgery was hell.
Harry, Ron, and Neville going in for a vasectomy together...now that's one fanfic I've never read before...
I always read the comments to make sure there isnt any deaths LOL. If there is, I at least know the shock of whats about to happen!
I find myself doing the same. The ones who don't make it just hurt my heart, I feel a need to prepare myself.
I'm glad I stumbled upon this - my yorkie has the same condition as Oliver. She has stage 4 in one leg and stage 3 in the other...She's getting surgery soon.
Best wishes for your little girl. (Jan Griffiths).
Poor yorkie... đȘđȘđȘ, woof woof đ¶đ¶đ¶
If you bathe ferrets once a week while their cage is being cleaned the smell is not so bad.
youâre actually not supposed to bathe ferrets more than typically once a year unless they get into something. the true thing that makes them not smell so musky is by raw feeding.
My Yorkie was also named Oliver. I miss him like crazy.
Prayers its so had to loss or have to put a baby down. I totally understand.
Amy Michaels I lost my yorkie 5 years ago she was called molly she was 15 itâs literally took me 5 years to get another we were absolutely heartbroken. I miss her and her mam I also had rosey who passed 13 years ago so much. My new fur baby is called Mindy also a yorkie sheâs 12 weeks old now.
My friend had four ferrets, plus a revolving door of fosters and rescued. I remember that smell very well. It's a bit strong but it's a musky smell, not terrible but very pervasive. I love them. They are playful and always into something.
@@abbyiswatching2046 I had a friend who named his ferrets Stinky and Smelly. He often let them run around his small apartment, they would often end up in my purse trying to steal anything shiny like my keys, they often took off with his keys or his bike lock, they were troublesome little guys.
Great job Dr.Scott. the dog's knees work wonderfully now.
That small dog realy remindss me of my cute yorkie Lola. They look so similar to each other.
I love Vet on the Hill episodes! Yay!
Really wish they would show more or the surgery procedure like they did before
I know, me too!
Does it get dark that early there, or does Scott stay open later in the eve? Vets here in the states - not "after hours" vets, but our regular daily docs, close at 5:00 PM. It's always surprising to see a family pick up their pet when it's so dark outside!
I think they close around 7 or so. My vet stays open till then too so you can pick up your pet after work. (Jan Griffiths).
Are they editing in dog licking sounds for all their episodes? It seems like the audio when a dog licks or eats is louder than what the mic should pick up. 06:42 as a reference
Their audio is all over the place. The narrator sounds so low sometimes.
When Jessie saw Scott in the park he first wanted to run away,
Scott you do an awesome job with all your patients
The yorkie shouldn't be more than 4-6 lbs. I love that little yorkie.
I like how Dr. Scott made Oliver sort of peek around the corner at his owners after surgery.
Awesome episode as always, it always lifts my spirits- blessings and happy new year from NYC!! đđ€đđđ·đđ»đđžđ
One of my Top 10, favorite shows
Glad Oliver is better and hopefully gets thru the physico well. Sorry I canât spell.
I wouldn't worry about the spelling when your heart is in the right place, I know on CZcams there are people who love to point errors out, but I would ignore them if I were you.
I wonder why he didn't have Dr. Hamilton do the surgery.
Hi your channel had help me to follow my dreams to become a vet â€ïž
It it just me or was expecting the ferrets to try and sell me beer?
Haven't we already seen the ferret clip..?
I haven't, and I believe I've seen every episode
We have. Been a lot of reruns lately
But I haven't. I just started watching this year. Actually, June on. So please forgive me for beginning now.
its possible they cut it into one of the newer things. they do add old clips from this and old bondi to add in to new episodes. im indifferent to the practice because i rewatch things a lot any
This is the episode it was actually in. Entirely possible they cut it into one of their sompilation episodes.
â€ïž Dr. Phoebe. Hope they stop cutting the operation part and stop blurring it.
this poor dog but im glade its getting better
My knee dislocates too
whoa. it took me quite a long time to realize this first woman has an american accent. LOL! i guess b|c that accent sounds native to me + no matter how many UK-based//Aussie-based shows i watch, all of their many, many accents still sound novel to me. đ
now iâm slightly curious about how she got over there. đ€đ
Usually it's a fascination with "English gentlemen" and the accent đ At least, according to my friend in NV and how she keeps asking me if I know any cute single guys here đđđ
àźšàźŁàŻàź±àźż àźźàź°àŻàź€àŻàź€àŻàź”àź°àŻàźàźłàŻ.thankyou all doctors
Have to laugh at people saying they love their dog yet have docked the tail needlessly.
It's not always the owner who did it. Breeders may do it when the puppies are very young, and people may adopt a dog that's already had it done. (It's even occasionally the case that a tail needs to be amputated).
I agree in principle, but you can't assume it was this owner's choice.
A friend of mine had to have her Great Dane's tail partially amputated because she'd wag her tail so hard that it fractured. (She'd thump it too hard on the floor). Docking should not be done unless medically necessary. (Jan Griffiths).
I can't imagine anyone saying anything negative about ferrets! They are literally fluffy, cuddly little clowns. I had two ferrets a very very long time ago for only a few months but I fell in love with the little critters. One of them was a dwarf and he was just the cutest little guy. The only problem I ever had with them was they were obsessed with pooping in one corner of the room that they were in and no matter what we did they wouldn't stop. And it was the hardest area to clean because we had baseboard radiators and that was the only corner where the radiator went around the corner (all of the other radiators stopped about a foot away from the corners) so the poop was everywhere in/under the radiator. And we had to take up the carpet so that helped a little bit because the original flooring in that room since it was the old nursery was tile, but it was hideous, terrifying clown tile because it was a nursery from the '50s. It was this awful greenish bluish tile and half of them had terrifying clowns on them which I could not imagine any child actually liking, but it was the house that my grandfather had built for his first wife, my grandmother, and they raised my dad and my two uncles there, and then my oldest uncle raised his two kids there, and then my parents raised me and my sister there, and now my second cousin is raising his family there. And that awful, terrifying clown tile is still in the nursery....
Anyway, I got off track remembering that awful tile...
But ferrets are sooooo sweet, so friendly, so silly, I cannot imagine anyone ever saying anything bad about one!
they are so cute!! the only "bad" thing i could say is that they STINK!
Wow! Ferrets are self potty trained. Nice. My niece has Ferrets but she never told me that. Never get any though. I have two cats. Yeah.
All ferrets I've met so far [three] have tried/succeeded in biting me, so yes I have some negative things to say about them. I wasn't doing anything mean, just wanted to pet them. Going away would've been fine, but for some reason they decided to bite
I would have put a cage in that corner, with a ferret litter box in the corner of the cage closest to the wall. I had to do just that when I had ferrets that did that, and it worked like a charm. They'd go into the cage and use the litter box. (Jan Griffiths).
Always nice to hear an American accent.
My black lab, also has tons of lumps all over his body, he's a very old dog, 13 years old. And these lumps have never bothered him, besides one on his cheek that he itches all the time and cuts open.
same here. my old lab has some lumps, but they don't seem to bother him.
Male ferrets will not smell as much once they are neutured. Another plus.
Ferrets who are handled and socialized are not nippy. Most ferrets nip when they play- like they do with each other. They are very tough little animals so they play rough.
Once they understand not to play rough with people, they moderate their behavior.
In the US ferrets are not sold unless they have been spayed or neutered.
Unfortunately, we have inbred them so much they are very prone to cancer.
They have actually reduces the expected lifespan of American ferrets from about 10-12 years to about 7-8 years. It's really sad. These are not easy deaths.
I've have over 20 ferrets over the years- mostly unwanted pets I took in. They are very social and happiest with friends. Even adult ferrets who nipped when they came were easily trained not to.
My last sweetie passed a few months ago (cancer again). I've decided not to have ferrets any more, it's too hard, but ferrets are amazing, loving and soooo funny. They are wonderful, wonderful pets if you don't mind ferret proofing your home and don't mind chaos and mess.
If you have to have neatness and don't want your things carried off and stashed in unknown corners, then ferrets are not for you.
They are like hyperactive furry 2 year olds who then sleep 18 hours, you will laugh so much at their antics.
That was very informative, thanks
Love Dr. Scott. And his staff. Love love love them. They are soo compassionate!!
Love Dr Scott
Ahh! Those ferrets are absolutely adorable! I wonder if the girls were named Hermione, Luna, and Ginny! I would've loved to see more of those adorable ferrets such cuties!!! đ„°
I love Scott. You are the light in my Day. I love to see the Love you have for the Animals and the people who care for these precious Beautiful Animals!!!! This in my favorite show in the World!!! â€đ video. Happy New Year Dr Scott and your staff.
Good jobs Scott. I love watching your videos.
Wow I didnât know this about ferrets. Very interesting!
What no actual surgery bummer I like when you show the cutting blood is a worry but you can turn away if is a bother
OH MY GOD THIS WAS MADE 53 MINTUES AGOO Iâm such a huge fan Iâm so happy that there are people helping the animals through rough times and it glows my heart honestly I wouldânt watch anything else.đmy dream would be to just have them reply OR ANYTHING đ€Șđđ this channel really glows my heart â€ïž
53 minutes ago?? These episodes were filmed years ago...
They only released them on youtube now, but these were filmed waaaay before 2020....
Season 3 was filmed Feb 6 -. May 15 2017.
Long before the virus...
16:26 10 weeks? My dog had the same done on only one leg and she took 7 months to walk normal again..
YouAre the best! Coolest show anywhere on the Internet TV I donât care just lovely and well put together I love the hole. I love the whole combination of all the different stories because your good day today
1:10 He's so cute!
They don't show surgery but dislocating a knee? That looks *much* worse! đđ”
16:11 How it looks? It looks like one huge pink leg and one chicken leg. đđ
My dog has a mild luxating patella issue too, but surgery is very expensive. Thankfully her vets don't think its bad enough for surgery, and she does put the leg down to walk on it still.
thatâs awesome about the lab â€ïžthey are prone to cancer
I saw some that you got at the grocery store.
Poor Baby Oliver needs help now.
I'm surprised Scott didn't refer Oliver to his friend Michael, the orthopedic surgeon. What is with the recent failing to show any of the surgery, just a pre-surgery quick pick and a sudden putting the animal in a recovery cage?
Why have the last few episode have already seen clips in them?
They don't have the content for continuously new uploads.
@@muchtested They could have shorter episodes. I agree itâs not always interesting to some clips again unexpectedly.
LOVE the ferrets names I wonder if she has called the girls Hermione, Ginny and Luna?
Neville should be Draco lol.
The labrador patient his owner's daughter Emma, she said the lump under his armpit she found 6 months ago. If Jesse was my dog as soon as I found that lump I would have taken him to the vet cause I don't mess around with that stuff.
They probably did since Scott had already felt it, he said it had become more firm since the last time. The dog has had benign lumps removed before, so they probably waited until they started affecting his movement because he is an old boy and surgery is a big risk.
My ten year old lab has the same old age lameness from arthritis Jessie and I have; he's been on Cosequin and Vetprophen for a year to alleviate pain. I'm surprised I never see any of these vets address that.
Oliver is a very pretty boy.
Everytime is see vet Feebee. Im Amazed how similiar she looks to me and my sister! Incredably confusing xD
Why is the Yorkies tail docked ? Itâs illegal now in uk to dock their tails. I used to breed them and I had to stop having their tails docked over 20 years ago now.
Maybe he's from the States. The woman owner sounded American; not much of a British accent. (Jan Griffiths).
Douglas Griffiths Yeh maybe
Why I canât see the clip where they doing the surgery
I Love Labs
Awww they are so cute! I had some ferrets and yep its very true a female ferret will die if not mated with
Yep, and it's important to spay females if she is your only ferret. I've had both male and female ferrets, and both genders were totally desexed. Desexed males will lose most of their odor as well, those with vasectomies will not. I don't understand why this woman didn't have both genders completely desexed if she dosen't wish to breed them. (Jan Griffiths).
I was also wondering why not spay the females- wouldnât that avoid the issue?
@@douglasgriffiths3534 ah thats really cool I had a male ferret I completely get the smell đ€Ł
There is also an implant that can be used i believe would have to be changed ever so often
Wait... Is this a re-upload?
I have 3 hamsters 2 young ones and 1 who is an adult I separated the adult from the young ones.
I went to feed them only to find one of my young ones dead... the other one but her head off.
Hi friends
I have a Yorkie cross
A friend of mine did too. Her dad was the Yorkie, her mom was an Aussie shepherd. She was an awesome dog, and very unique looking. (Jan Griffiths).
@@douglasgriffiths3534 my Yorkie is a Yorkie apso. Her mum is a lhasa apso and her dad is a miniature Yorkshire terrier
my parents had a yorkie that needed knee surgery on both knees... twice. he kept leaping off a bed that was far too tall for him. yeah... he wasn't the smartest dog
you think ferrets smell bad try minks fun like ferrets but a lot meaner and love water, I cant get mine to stop playing in the pool even in winter.
If you are that little and have knees that can't hold that dinky weight properly, I suggest you sue the manufacturer. Where is she??
Oliver is a cutie
$20 bet⊠the girls are named Hermione, Ginny, and Luna
Poor little Yorkie looks like they installed a chicken leg
Most ferrets in the US are spayed and neutered.
Yep. It's against the law to sell them otherwise. At least in shops, but not from breeders. I used to own them myself----both genders----all desexed. (Jan Griffiths).
So, female ferrets keep cycling if they don't mate? Cats are the same...why do they never speak about this?
me having a yorkshire terrier-
Hi Emma watched home away Chelsea married colby
Why haven't the newer episodes had Chris in the I miss him already don't get me wrong I love everyone on this show but starting to miss Chris
He quit the show.
This is Vet On the Hill. But in the case of Bondi Vet Chris left back in like 2017.
Coast to Coast is the new version of the show.
Oh I'm waaaayyyy late on that I've been watching ooooollllddd shows still sad
I've been wondering the same. But, I like Dr. Scott also. I there was a vet like Dr. Scott where I live in St. George, Utah. I use to have a vet like him, but he died in a car accident a few years ago. The crazy thing is that he is was also Dr. Scott. His brother now runs the office.
