Hi kripal ji, that is thoppur Ghat road in between Dharmapuri and Salem. Its most dangerous ghat section in salem. So they well maintained always and always announcing to heavy vehicles to go in 2nd gear. Because of frequent accident take place in that area.

@@KripalAmannaVlogs its a 35+ yr old eatery serving dhaba style dishes well known to salem people. Best to visit at night. My suggestion would be to try their Hyderabadi chicken gravy and curd rice.

Those who drive slowly, they should take lane close to divider.
Extreme right track is high speed plus HMV...extreme left has bike lane..stick to lane... overtaking is bit a thing as you can't overtake from right risk of some one hitting from truck bus or SUV..most common...so see lanes reduce speed then move on...rubbing is expected.. nevertheless for biker's

It is great to see this outlet has opened again. It was closed for a while. This is my favourite stop everytime i travel to my place Kerala. Fill fuel, grab a cappuccino from McD or breakfast depending on the time i travel. Infact a great place for a hangout. 😁👍

I have been thadakkam a week back, and frankly I was surprised how yummy the food was, also there is a lake beside the restaurant which provides a good ambience and the even the price was decent
There are 100's of Popular Hotels in Taluk Head quarters across Karnataka. Example Shri Hotel KR Nagara popular for Dosa people from Mysore visit that place to eat, explore such Hotels.

Wow. The whole Tamil Nadu has an excellent national highway system
About the trucks plying on the right side on the highway is due to the reason since smaller vehicles enter and exit from the left hand side . Majority of the highways in Bharat do have smaller roads or lanes that merge onto the roads and smaller vehicles especially the two wheelers keep entering and exiting . Trucks run with heavy load and hence the braking distance is more due to which it becomes almost impossible to bring the vehicle to a screeching halt. Due to the heavy load behind such instances lead to overturning the vehicle causing a massive casuality.
I would like to see a vlog on your intermittent fasting. How do you make it work? You seem to have all these morning breakfasts and coffees, so how do you make it work exactly?

Yes sir...when overtaking, if the vehicle that we are about to overtake is in the center lane and we are already riding in the left most lane, it is absolutely fine to proceed in the same lane and overtake from left without having to shift to right most lane to overtake...as if it is a formality. Only thing to mind is that the left corner lane that we are already riding in should be adequately broad enough and road ahead in good condition. So this is mostly possible only in 6 or 8 lane NHs and not advisable on 4 lane NHs.
And as you rightly said.. in single or double lane roads though it is always safer to overtake from the right.. yet we are at times forced to overtake from left too.. like when 2 large vehicles in front of us occupy the only 2 lanes available and are moving slowly! In that case we need to do it with utmost caution, not failing to sound the horn.
I have had this experience very often during my rides to Mumbai while passing through the 25 km long median-less, single lane stretch of NH-4 between Hubli and Dharwad where very slow moving long container trucks and other vehicles occupy the only available lane forcing two wheeler riders like me to do most part of our overtaking from the lean space on the left most corner almost caressing the monster trucks on our right.
As a rule and my advice, always use the indicator while overtaking and changing lanes 👍
I noticed you passing between two trucks without signalling.
As per my knowledge In single road you need to over take from the right side and it's must , in six lane you can over take from left or right wherever space is available with horn like bng chennai road.
You should get an insta360 X2 camera for your bike rides and you get a whole new perspective for video footage for your rides

It seems Banglore Parking Rules are way different than the whole country, instead of Left side adjacent to footpath parking - I can see many 4 wheelers parked / halted on right edge of the road divider. ;)

Very nice to watch the ride in your fat boy. The ghat road which you crossed before salem is Thoppur Ghat road (which is part of the eastern ghats) where frequent accidents used to take place due to its gradient and bends. Hence, the police had installed public address systems to warn the motorists. There is also a belief among the locals that this place is haunted (let us respect our peoples sentiments).

I have immensely enjoyed this video on your road trip to Salem. But please avoid, if not completely at least to the extent you can, taking such long road trips on a motorcycle. It’s risky, especially considering that many of our compatriots don’t always observe traffic rules. We all have families and we owe it to them to avoid such unnecessary risks.
