as a classical pianist, all of James’s ratings were incredibly accurate. also the dissonant guitar was sick
I love how you actually explain your reasoning and not just base it off of the playing, but the effort and difficulty.
Is it just me or is james much nicer and more fair in this video than in others? Usually hes just chaotic and putting people in f just because but this time he actually rates people based on skill and difficulty. It just really shows how passionate and interested in music he is and honestly i love it!

same, as a violist and a ukulele player I was like "okay, gotta give you that one" bc the scale of difficulty really is so, so different. it took me three years to sound like I was playing on Purpose on the viola, with a trained instructor in an orchestra, but I taught myself the ukulele in a month

My friend plays the drums and I've seen her play multiple times and I'm pretty sure that they do spend more time practicing the whoosh whoom with the drumstick than actually practicing playing the drums
Yeah my friend has a drum set in her room, and everytime I go over to her house, she plays the drums and she does do the spinning the drumstick thing, but to be fair, what else are they supposed to do when there is no drumming at a certain part? Wait there awkwardly and do nothing?😭 I though James was judging based off how they played, For skeppy he just instantly roasted him on how he was spinning the drumstick and not playing at the beginning lol
my household is literally just made up of music, we communicate by playing and listening to music so hearing one of my favorite streamers talk about music makes me feel happy:)

Usually I'd be one of the people fuming over Dan not being in A tier (joke) but this was genuinely a very insightful video into the levels and nuances of musical skill and a lot of the insults you gave double as tips so... you're safe for now, Jimothy Marriot.
I really enjoyed this! James knows his stuff and I loved hearing his reasoning. I didn't even realize this video was almost 20 minutes until it ended and I looked at the time. Plus him and Billzo always crack me up. 😂
