Remember that we once used to eat raw shit till we found out about sugar and spices. I think the taste bud similarities are actually universal between al living beings.

Yes, we can get suger from carbohydrates,bread,rice,pasta etc, but part of us craves suger as refined as possible, and now ,in the west, we can have it whenever we want!
The toast over meat bit actually makes sense: it's the closest thing to waffles.

I was a little surprised carrots weren't in there -I know he loves the cronch and sweetness and in other tests he always tries to hide so ppl can't see him eating it! You know what it's like - growing lad, peer pressure to look 😎😎😎
