Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours 211th Exhibition | 30 March - 8 April 2023

The Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours (RI) was founded 192 years ago. Since its creation, the Institute aims to encourage and educate painters in the fine art of watercolour, seeking the best artists to become members by giving them the opportunity to exhibit their work.
On the occasion, we interviewed two newly elected members, Matthew Phinn and Martha Zmpounou, who told us about their use of watercolour, their inspirations, their creation process, their involvement in the RI and the fantastic artistic community that is brought together by the Institute.
