Really good use of the space. The sand blue looks fine with the back drop. That section of the city looks nice with the low rise buildings.
The Octan factory building is one of the most interesting and unique builds, you wouldn't want anything too distracting next to it. I think you've found the perfect solution.

Very well done MOC build - great use of parts from other sets to create the details inside as well! OVerall design looks really good and it feels like it fits in with that block. Still love that Cup factory a LOT!! :D

It would be interesting to see all of the small little sets (ie: record players, couches, chairs, bookshelves etc) from official sets you have stored away to use on custom mocs 😁👍🏻
