- Hey party people! I filmed this HomeGoods and At Home shop with back in July and I thought I would throw it up as a bonus video this week! I hope you enjoy shopping around HomeGoods with me, and also venturing into At Home for the first time! I was excited to see what At Home was all about and I was surprised to see that they had Halloween decor up! ... Of course I will go back into HomeGoods once they get more seasonal items!

"Wentworth is the reason we cant have nice things" l adore the way you keep things real! We are not perfect and you dont pretend that everything is we can all relate. Ohhh the smudges on the whiteboard, what is it with kids (mines 16yrs old and still doing it) why cant they get a damn tissue or a cloth and wipe it CLEAN, my child uses her fingers to rub off it drives me bonkers!! Not to mention the black on her fingers ends up on the light swith or worse. Grrr The second store At Home you need to imagine the items not stacked on shelves mentally visualise them on there own in a room👍 BTW l was wondering what the smell was like in At Home l dont think you mentioned it🤣🤣🤣

The key to making crispy waffles is not opening the waffle maker until there is no longer steam coming out of it. Don't follow the green light symbol. Wait until there's no steam coming out of its side.

I like at home at Christmas, they organize the ornaments by color by each isle 🥰
We had so much cold weather in the spring then so much rain this summer I never had a chance to clean all the lawn furniture. Hopefully will this week in time to put it away. Ug. When I saw the Thomasville bistro set I said eeeee ! My husband and a whole lot of family used to work there until they closed here and in Lenoir NC. Thanks for the shopping. I miss Home Goods and need to get there pronto.

At home always overwhelms me but I love going in there when I'm looking for something specific that way I can just go straight to that area. Christmas time is always a good time to go especially if you need a new tree. I'm extremely sensitive to scents they give me migraines if they're too strong,maybe that's why I don't go in there very often.

I know you dont want to hear it just now, but l can assure you it truly does get better. Be kind to yourself, take any offers of help and ask for it if you need to. Fun shopping with you! I love Home Goods! It just makes me happy to see all the cute displays and colors! I dint know why a store had such strong fragrances ? They should know how sensitive a lot of us are to those and definitely would keep me from shopping ! ❤️👍👍
Yes! When I was going through chemo 1 1/2 yrs ago, for 6 mos I couldn't wear my fav perfume, or be around a lot of scents! They should rethink their scent policy! Why not the scent of chocolate chip cookies? I used to throw a batch in every time my previous house was toured by potential buyers - realtor said it makes ppl feel "at home" lol!

My son, who is 26, when he was little, he broke so many things! I feel for you, Kim. My 3 kids shared a room for 3 years until we moved to a bigger house when they were 3, 6, and 10. Enjoy them-it goes fast!

We have At Home here as well but I find it really overwhelming. I like the wall art section but it's usually really unorganized and hard to shop. Also I love candy corn, esp mixed with peanuts. Salty + sweet. Delicious! 😊💗🌞

My favorite part of at home is all the disney wall art. Its hard and expensive to find disney art, so whenever I see them on clearance and they are my favorite characters, i try to pick them up.

I feel you got overwhelmed at At Home, bc I did, too! I think it'd be great for when you're looking fir something soecific, bc just looking is difficult when there's soooo much! 1st world complaint, I know, but 1,000 choices for buying just 2 pillows or whatever is very daunting!

The magnolia section in target has the biggest round food platter. It’s $35 and I’m dying to buy it for cheese plates this holiday.

Just know they don't grow out of that. Wentworth is young but my boy is almost 15 and he still climbs into the laundry baskets. He is definitely why I can't have nice things. Lol
I just redid my living room and bought the curtains at Tuesday Morning and they are some of the nicest curtains I have ever had. I will definitely be buying my curtains from places like that from now on.
I wrote something similar about my 16yr old Daughter that smudges the white board with her fingers and then leaves black marks on the light switches etc!! Definitely do not grow out of it👍
@@brilliantbutblue my kids used sharpies lol I recently painted the whole inside of my house and covered up most of their art work. I have to admit I just didn't give a shit for a long time and figured if I painted over it and did all that work they were still little and probably would have did it again. We had new windows put in back when my daughter was about 6 or 7 so brother was about 3 or 4, anyway they dug out all of the silicone caulking around all the windows upstairs. Frustrating to say the least. Those dang windows were not cheap. Lol

Im not exaggerating when l say it took me nearly a week to scrub those damn walls of her old room and spak fill where command strips had pulled off paint and plaster. Needless to say l threatened her with her life if she ever put crap on those walls in the new room. 🤞
Admitting it, I was totally drooling over that rattan/wicker laundry hamper until you said $40. My 4 year old would destroy it within a week. Back to drooling over the vegetable decor. Cabbage platter!
I have found that overhead writing markers work perfect for dry erase. Because it doesn't smear very easily. Lol
Kim, if you’re looking to change out your pillows check out the pillow covers on Amazon ... most are great quality & prices and you can use your existing inserts so storage isn’t an issue 😊

Just went into TWO different Home Goods Stores in Central New York. Both of them had very little product. Nothing stocked like in your video from July. I’d love a recent video from the same one you went to. I’m not sure if it’s something to be freaked out or if it’s college season, but here’s what I’m seeing...bare shelves in bare aisles. Maybe 3 aisles of food down from one or two more that used to be dedicated to food.
I feel like the buyer is being careful. Like seeing it’s school season so buying clothes, shoes, pillows, sheets, blankets and towels but not buying anything else. It’s been eerie and quite sad to see. Anyone else see the same at their Home Goods right now?
My daughter and husband love to watch with me. Mainly because I sing and get excited about deals too. 😂👍💕
