The Wonder and the Worry || Official Teaser Trailer

The Wonder and the Worry is an environmental documentary film currently in production and slated to debut in Spring 2024. The film follows the careers of Chris Johns, former Editor-in-Chief of National Geographic and friend to SWLF's Applied Journalism program, and his daughter, photographer Louise Johns, as they both navigate the changing landscape of nature photography and environmental journalism in our era of planetary crisis. Vividly depicting both the beauty of the natural world and the threats that it currently faces, the film emphasizes the importance of storytelling in efforts to address our climate emergency.
