No. Benavidez went up in weight instead of waiting for the wbc to make mandatory in March. Canelo just said on ESPN he will fight Benavidez in September.

I hear JC Chavez said, through an interpreter, that Munguia hasn't proved himself at the weight and his only two fights inc The Gorilla don't prove anything because Johns not a good fighter. I thought that was unfair because John ryder was a solid professional & I am sure he will make a great trainer. He knows because lets face it hes fought the top level fighters.
