Excellent video! Very good illustration, very clear explanation and very practical example. Thank you Sir. 5 years later and still helping many. Keep it up
Dear Leah: The question has to give you the information so that you can get the original length and the extension. So I could give you the original length and final length. Or I could give you the extension and final length. I suppose I could give you and extension and the ratio between that length and the original length. However I do it, you need to be able to determine the original length and the extension though.
We multiply the mass (60kg) by the gravitational field strength (10N/kg) to get 600N weight Rafiya. I use 10 N/kg instead of 9.8 N/kg because it makes the math go faster.
Hi: Its the conversion factor. 2 x 10^-6 square meters is the same as 2 square millimeters. We need to use SI units for physics equations so we need to be in square meters. Hope this helps.

Doing a science and engineering course after ten years out of education. This is very helpful. Thank you.
can i ask a few questions?
What if we did not multiply the 60kg with 10n/kg
Love you from nepal and thanks you so much
Most welcome
Sir u r a grt explainer.Hats off 2 u.Love from india.🙂🙂🙂
Thanks a ton
What if original length is missing?

Sir plz give more numericals
Please help with the 600N
1kg=10N
👍👍
Where we get 600n?
We multiply the mass (60kg) by the gravitational field strength (10N/kg) to get 600N weight Rafiya. I use 10 N/kg instead of 9.8 N/kg because it makes the math go faster.
Force = mass x acceleration (due to gravity)
But my answer is 20000×10⁶N/M² sir!!!?
60kg equal to 600N why?
Because it’s Weight. W=mg that is 70(kg)*10(m/s^2) = 700N
in 2.10^-6 the 10^-6 comes from where ??

@@abuonaquisti thank you for help
It must be 2x10^-3
Typical that everyone is pretending they understand.
I dont have a degree in math
