Broke the buckle off on the
Kenetreks, climbing down some rocks on my fifth day hunt. Purchased the Sitka ones today hopefully they last.

I don’t understand why so many use Velcro. Won’t it attract all the crud and you’ll have to pick it out? Just seems like the weak spot to me

They may not be rated for it but in reality it’s definitely some protection, in the US only a rattler could think of penetrating these.
