[Foxx 's Take] Ultra Color Pulse '24

- REUPLOAD, minor change. I wanted to show my take on this remix, because on twitter several others were having a go at it!
CHANGES:
- Drum replaced with one that has a tad bit more OOMPH.
- Bass line slightly altered, with the synth changing entirely to a more intense sound.
- Extra lead sounds for more pizazz. (Marina being on the keyboard and not making sounds made me confused LOL.)
- THE RETURN OF THE iconic Jupiter Hoover sound that the chords had!
- Overall added drum layer.
- Also added a funky guitar during Pearl's rap section!

sorry in advanced (for the reupload)! i had a huge gripe about the chorus section and me not adding that one synth!
also, fyi: i do not hate the og! i simply wanted to join in on the fun of adding more to this groovy track!
It's so funny, when Splatoon 2 came out everyone was "fixing" Pearl and now they're (actually) fixing Color Pulse XD (great work!!)

Without the WOoooWooo the song was incomplete. It was so iconic and the fact that this artist extended it just makes it sound like this song if it was a better sequel

Yes, it's true that the new one is good, but some parts could be improved. But THIS is ABSOLUTELY WAY BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL.

THIS IS AMAZING. I love the way you changed it, especially on 1:16!!! Definitely 100x better than the remix. The new song feels empty because it's missing so many instruments.

Absolutely LOVE this version! I'm a little sad the og isnt as hype, but i still like it too, its very different. Actually the one i dont like is We're So Back, for some reason it sounds off to me. Like the signing doesn't match the actual music sometimes. But maybe I just need to get used to it!
To be honest i just like it a bit less than i thought i would cause it uses a motif from side order, like the winning jingle after you complete a floor and some other music
To be fair, that’s not the first time OTH’s vocals haven’t matched the backing track. Listen to most of Marina’s verses in Shark Bytes. They are completely dissonant to the instruments in the background.

@@ThePotionMaster413but somehow I feel like it works with Shark Bytes. I know OTH work a lot with dissonance, their collab with Wet Socks are the same, but it works! It just doesn't during the verses of We're so Back for some reason

Its much better than the new one, if only pearl and marina didn't have the half-assed vocals in the new key:( They sound so bored XD
Tone down the background synths a lil more to be more in line with the mixing of everything else and you’re golden
Now redo the voices with more same pitch but with more pep in em and we are all set! 🙌
This one’s pretty good. Some of these vocals kinda suck tho but mishmashing them together would sound hella weird where at that point Nintendo would have to re record the vocals to have the new version but sounding a lot like the original.

The more i hear others remixes to this version i get more upset with the first one. Why did they have to make it bad?
Can I use this as bgm in a video? Nintendo's is too quiet and not exciting enough.

They really missed potential on the original. It felt like there was something just missing.
Honestly i despise the og version. Sounds so dead and i hate change. This gave me the same feeling city of color 24 gave me, disappointment as it could never top the og AND wasnt better either
tbh i do like the new city of color but REAL. the og color pulse is so much better, especially the vocals imo

Idk I feel like the idol songs (except for deepcut) are really not hitting in splatoon 3. Like in side order, the songs weren’t really that good and it’s so disappointing. And the ending song for the story mode wasn’t great either. It’s really a huge let down compared to splatoon 2
@@succulentfruiit4107 while I did like a lot of the songs in side order any song the idols sung except for unconscience and the ONE part of onward #47, they didn't feel very... Off the hookish. Every song from already existing idols just. Suck ass, they've had the life taken outta them like city of color 24
