Hi darrell, Is there any way to block the Scammer comments on your video?
@@captainshuvo5726 All I know is to report every spam. I think yt blocks that address. Don't know for sure, but that's what I do when I see them.
Hello, I received a message where I am supposed to be selected for a prize. The message asks to respond to a telegram account.
This happens after I wrote a comment to your video.
I am wondering whether is another scam as the one of few months ago about the les paul style guitars….
Thank you, I look forward for your reply.
Bro can't you do anything about this scammers in your CZcams channel?
@@820hurleyj i also report the comments immediately.
Darrell, I am a former guitar player and a 18 year hemiplegic stroke survivor, having lost the use of the right side of my body. I would just like to say "thank you" with everything that I am for your fantastic videos. Through your videos I feel the excitement I felt in years gone by for guitars. I owned many over the years from many brands, and I can't really say I had a favorite, but your excitement brings back the thrill of unwrapping a new guitar. Thank you sir, for everything. Blessings from Kansas~
Darren pin this please
@@bentonchiez Forgive me, I am old, but what does "pin this" mean? I meant no disrespect, I only wanted to thank him. Honestly. Blessings~
@@stevecole3192 pinning it means that everyone see's it. It's just good to see someone get joy from the video.
It's good to hear that you've continued to find joy in your life, regardless of your personal problems.👍👍👍
@@bentonchiez His name is Darrell, not Darren.
This type of guitar is right up my alley! Nice F hole, with the bit hollowing, beautiful heel joint, oh and it’s an offset with a tele aesthetic. My two favorite things in 1! I’ll have to add this to the list for sure.
They’re made in England, hence very expensive. They’re definitely an investment though. Spend 2000 on one of you plan on living another 35 years, it’ll be worth a lot more. Maybe. No guarantees tho.
yep , they have that novo style going on and are off the same level but a lot cheaper
Would dig to see your take on it on your channel 👍
just checked the price overhere in Holland for this excact guitar, 2200 euro at kaufmann guitars while an novo miris is about 4500 euro , pfff , that;s half the price for in fact the same kind of guitar , although the novo has an trem on it , but then again thats an major price gap .
F
Always appreciate the variety of riffs you use for each demo to show a variety of tones from each product you demo
Love your show..you didn't mention the cost of this fine instrument.
But watching your videos for a long time you do an amazing job. You deserve all of your success, its been nothing but a pleasure watching the channel grow
Glad you are spreading the news on PJD. Lovely guitars.
This one as got me head over heals in love for many reasons. Just to name two of them 1. It’s perfection in how it sounds & looks. 2. The total build from the headstock to the body, it’s finish and assembly. WOW!!! Simply a FANTASTIC guitar… 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
PJD is the real deal! I love these guitars, especially my Carey Standard in Baby Blue!
I've done a couple of videos about these guitars and they never disappoint! Cheers, Darrell!
I usually don't like the middle position on a three way toggle guitar like this, but it sounds phenomenal on this guitar! A very usable tone.
Darrell, Thanks for your videos, always enjoy your playing and honest evaluations. Best Wishes to you and yours from a true California fan. You inspire many, thanks. 🏆
I checked out his website. So awesome to see hand made stuff especially from York England. Very cool guitar. Thanks again for another great vid.
This is actually quite tasty. Nice to see this combo of coolness in a baseline model!!!
Very sweet… Great video as usual!!!
Fantastic guitar. Great tones, great look, great versatility
Fantastic sounding guitar Darrell.
I’ve loved PJD guitars for a while now. They’re awesome.
Wish I had ordered one at the beginning, before the prices went to the correct, higher level. Eh.
Very nice and original instrument !
Great choice 👍🏻
Hi Darrell, great find I believe & has the ‘cred’ to match. Thank you for this great review. I am always keen to know about options in the industry. Cheers 🎸✌️
Sweet warm tone!
The guitar I never knew I wanted. Great find!
You Sir are a god send for us Guitar- a- hol-Ickes!! Plz keep your videos coming!! Super content!!
Sick guitar! I did notice though in the video that the string tree is not straight though. I'm going to have to look one of these up and plan on putting one into rotation here soon.
Love the vids, all of them.
Would love to know what you play them through and setting, I always struggle to repeat your tones.
Maybe you do already, I just don’t see them, thanks from the UK
Keep up the great work
PJD are the builder’s late father’s initials. A little light trivia for you 😊
I just got my first pjd last week (a woodford pioneer) and I absolutely love it. Quickly becoming my favorite guitar.
I just watched the Andertons video. It looks like a winner!
Congratulations you have been shortlisted among my lucky winner 🎊🎉🍾 🏆
Darrel has really good punchy timing in his playing. Dig it. How delicious does that guitar look? It is a mashup of lots of ideas, but I agree that it totally works. It's one of those guitars that just says "hey come grab me and give me a damn good thrashing". Nice pickup choices. Sounds great.
For over 2 grand it should be a great guitar! Many of your fans, like myself, don't have that kind of bread to spend on guitars unfortunately but finding new ways to soup up our cheap ones is always welcome:-)
It's gorgeous. I love the open grain ash, my favorite finish. The tone is unreal. This is going into my top 5 with no question.
Have you seen the price? It'll cost you a bit.
@@audiophileman7047 I have, while I think it's agreat guitar I'd go with a Parker over it. Sarah Brightman's guitarist used a Parker on the La Luna tour. Best sound I've ever heard.
@@andrewjackson9417 Be careful about what famous players play. They often mod their guitars to fit their playing style and to get the sound they want. You may not get that sound out of a stock model. I just received a book out of the UK that explains how David Gilmour of Pink Floyd changed his "Black Strat" over the decades to fit his playing style and sound. Then there's the unique way of playing to get a sound that we can't duplicate.
@@audiophileman7047 I can't even find any prices on their website - where are you seeing the price? EDIT: Never mind, I found them - have to click 'Order' to see them.
Much like my G&L Fullerton Fallout. P-90 at the neck (Splitable) humbucker at the bridge. Light weight offset body. Like the semi-hollow body and the finish that allows the feel of the wood to come through(Old carpenter taking). This thing looks like a keeper. Check out G&L if you haven't.
G&Ls are great, have a tribute ASAT classic semi-hollow (think a Thinline tele with double binding) beautiful book matched ash top with a transparent blue burst. Their pickups are like Fender pickups evolved to a higher level (all tributes, while made in Asia, get California made pickups and bridges). I got lucky as the neck and fretboard are a nice flame maple.
Congratulations you have been shortlisted among my lucky winner. 🎊🎉🍾
Again I am a great fan of your solo 😍
Hey Darrell I sure do appreciate you and all that's you have shared with everyone your the best.
I enjoyed this video! A perfect guitar for Church worship, P90 in neck wow. That grain on the neck 😳.
PJD guitars are great. I don't own one but have tried out a few now and they are incredible. The necks on these guitars are so smooth.
Congratulations you have been shortlisted among my lucky winner 🎊🎉🍾 🏆
Wow, this guitar is really fantastic!
Darrell, your reviews are the best on the tube! I would you to bring the Acoustasonics (Mexico and USA back to back would be amazing) on the channel. Great job man!
It sounded and looked great. In a way I'm surprised that they're as expensive as they are, but I know you don't show only entry-level guitars. Definitely on my go-to list now.
That's a good lookin/soundin guitar there!
This company also makes Chapman's made in England line.
Ah, a fellow KDH enjoyer, I see.
Your videos are awesome and i wish this instrument weren’t quite so expensive; of course it is insane build quality so i’m not surprised. Are you from Minnesota or Wisconsin maybe? I’m in Madison and you sound like a local ya know.
Dreamy guitar.. all their guitars on the website look sweet and I am sure worth the price. Thanks for sharing, I will take two please ☺
Very nice instrument: all the right details at the right place. Finesse, versatility, timbre and class. Only one thing I would add: the tummy cut. But it is a minor thing, more of a desire than a problem.
Nice tone for this surprising guitar.
I recently bought a PJD Carey Elite. Hands down the best guitar I have ever owned for tone and playability - custom shop production quality but superior value. Hand built means waiting 10 weeks but man is it worth it. Discovered the brand on this channel so big thanks to DBG.
@claimyourprizeontelegramda3381 obvious scam. P*ss off.
Yes, I have a G&L Tribute ASAT Classic with the string ferrules sticking up just enough to be a little annoying. Years ago I found string ferrules without that lip around them for a Telecaster partscaster that I converted from top load only to string through. Guess they don’t make these anymore?
Darrell Love the channel. I am in love with the PJD guitar you used in the video. O have tried to find this model and color but I am not able to find one here in the US. Is there a dealer located in Canada? I'm in Detroit so if so I could make the trip to get one Thanks Keep up the good work!
Yaaaa! They didn't made it randomly, they well thought about it. Pick-ups outline cover made to match pick guard
Love it!
I have played and owned many great guitars throughout my life, but my pjd St. John ltd. tops them all.
What a wonderful guitar and what a craftsmanship this is. Recommend this to all great players out there!
Go and get one now if you can, you won’t regret it I promise.
Hello Darrell, I'm home today playing hooky, saw you had a new video and had to watch it. I just bought 2 of those Blackstar practice guitars from Guitar Center, they're on sale at half price, $199 instead of $399, I freaking bought two of them and they evren came with their Blackstar bluetooth speaker, I'm not trying to push these little guys, just excited to finally get a good deal. This PJD guitar looks and sounds great. Damn dude, what will it take to play like you, I'm in my late 60's, do you think I have time? I hope so, not giving up but I'd just love to rip a guitar like you. Great review, I'll look into this guitar, my collection has room for one more. Peace brother.
Could you possibly review some signature guitars in the future? Tom delonges es-333, Jim roots fender telecaster. Things like that. Love your vids
Looks and sounds fantastic. My only question would be- any neck-dive?
Great review. Very interesting and pretty guitar. How does its sound compare to a Duesenberg starplayer TV?
Very nice combination of ingredients
it made your job easy darrell, , i`ve designed and made a couple of guitars
myself ,,this is `very` similar to my last effort, coincidentally its awesome,
Good vid. Thanks!
Rumour has it that these are also the guys building the new UK-made workshop series from Chapman Guitars
Outstanding guitar! Looks and sounds great. I agree, the ferrules should be flush...
Has some of the same characteristics as the Slick SL56 from Slick and Guitar Fetish. Nice looking guitar.
Your jam track and solo should be a song. Nice playing DB
Can you please try any Tagima guitar, it's kinda hyped here in our country and tell us what you think of that guitar, and try to compare with some of the budget guitars that you have, thank you I'm from the Philippines.
This is a great looking guitar. I just love offsetguitars without a trem only fixed bridge. I wish they had an imported line/produktion line of that guitarshape with P90 and a HB (and without the F hole) to bring down the price. Hard to find out there and almost always with a trem, not fixed bridge (read Fender). I love when manufactures bring out new shapes that dont look the same. But it always boutique handbuild guitars. Nothing wrong with that if you can afford it but its to expensive for me. I think this guitar in this shape but more affordable would sell like crazy. 😃
nice the guitar too
I respect a fine hand-crafted instrument for sure. I gotta say, for what they're selling these for all the positives you point out had better be world class. Definitely aspirational as opposed to attainable for a lot of guitarists.
nice review
Nice!
Who.won the giveaway! Nice guitar as always you bring amazing gears
I've been watching quite a few of your vids lately. Have you ever done a review for a "FirstAct"? I bought a Les Paul version and it was super cheap and is way better than my Epiphones.
so what do they typically cost in US dollars?
I like that the pickguard matches the pickupring (I think it's called that)
Reminds me of the Pacifica with the Seymore Duncan's
The P90 sounds incredible!
Congratulations you have been shortlisted among my lucky winner. 🎊🎉🍾
This looks like something that could be a studio workhorse and serve a wide range of music styles.
Incredible Guitar! WAYYYY out of my budget! Lol One can dream.
Darrell, could you please review Stetsbar Tremolo and the Easy Rider V-Twin Tremolo ? Thanks
Hi Darrell. I haven't played in over 7 years and am considering getting a good guitar to play gospel music. Any recommendations? I was thinking about a fender like sound or a semi hollow guitar. Price range would be 200 up to 500 dollars. I thought about getting a Glarry ggs101 but saw some videos about it being a problem to setup on your own. Thanks for your videos, keep it up.
How do I know it's really you? The guiter email thingy looks suspicious.
Quite an amalgam of features. Both P90 and humbucker pickups, and they borrowed the LP Jr. pickguard.
Congratulations you have been shortlisted among my lucky winner. 🎊🎉🍾
An above the nut bend in the opening sequence? This is going to be intense. I can tell
I want the Carey Elite model!
Neato!
WOW! Hmmmmm.....So how much overtime do I need to do to get this beauty.....( gotta have gotta have gotta have it now!)
Congratulations you have been shortlisted among my lucky winner. 🎊🎉🍾
It's a great guitar, but it's not affordable for a lot of people. The biggest plus is its versatility.
Good video-p
Would love one.. Unfortunately the price matches the awesome wood selection and the impeccable construction quality.
Ah Man, you should check out Reverend Guitars. I have the Club King 290, which is a semi-hollow with 2 P90s, with a Bass Rolloff Contour knob. Their Double Agent is a P90 and Humbucker and sounds super versatile!
I have the Double Agent and thought the same thing seeing and listening to him play it. My favorite guitar purchase in a long time.
I wish that you could test the Jackson Dominion. A unique body shape from Jackson, looking as classic than it's good
Love the whole look and sound. They must be a bit on the OUCH side price wise. They do not have any prices on the site. No price says $2500.00 USD plus?? but I could be wrong, too low lol.
At 2:48 as you're saying "no tooling marks", tooling marks along the fret are exactly what the image shows. I'd expect to see a mirror finish before suggesting that the frets were sublime.
Not to be nit picky but I thought the same
Pretty sure this is the company that’s making the new Chapman made in UK guitars. These look fantastic
Great. Another guitar on my wishlist I can't afford. 😂
Sweet p90 👍
Probably interesting middle switch
Yaaaa! It seems it different
I want that guitar for Christmas santa Darrell 🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Congratulations you have been shortlisted among my lucky winner. 🎊🎉🍾
What a dream to win any guitar and be able to record my life project, where I tell you how I survived 15 spinal surgeries and 2 meningitis
It reminds me of the nice Roadcore series from Ibanez, that are not available anymore
bugger off scammer
It is a MasterCaster! 🤪❤
3:50 This texture reminds me of a vintage furniture....
It’s funny I’ve watched you for a while and never noticed your Canadian accent until now. Eh?
Arent PJD making the new Chapman workshop line?
