Those slabs though! They’re looking real good Dylan. Nice to see you so excited. It really is the perfect way to preserve great memories and special cards. Hard to pick a favorite in this but the one Brent sent you is fire!! What a gift and perfect for your collection. That gold Ichiro…wow 🤩💥
“It took me six hours to find a centered card on whatnot” You are the best, Dylan! 😆 It was a treat seeing all of these, the DoubleD slabs are just so cool. That Cowan never gets old 🤙🏻🤙🏻 Can’t wait to have my very own DoubleD graded card in my collection at some future date 😃
Ya Josh thank you dude. Stoked you stopped buy for a watch. The old shine is just crazy. I think Heritage is one of the only ones that still shines like the old refractors 🤙🤙
That 71 Palmer is a beauty, his cards are so affordable. I always thought the buybacks were a unique idea, never really see anyone talk about those. Thanks for sharing Dylan!
Taking back our hobby one card at a time! I bought some as well. Unfortunately, they don't yet have slabs to hold the 2 5/8" x 3 3/4" inch cards from the early 50s. When they do, I will be done grading cards just to preserve them. The value in my cards are in their stories even though some of them hold significant monetary value as well. That will be for someone else to determine once I'm gone. Keep your passion. It's infectious.
Dylan your cards look so sweet in your slabs! That McCovey Allstar card is amazing looking just love the coloring on that one. That Ichiro gold refractor is a stunning card. The 2002 Rookie Cup is also sick dude! Love watching your journey my friend.
Dylan. Great showcase of cards tonight. Love what you've done with the new slabs. I may consider that on a few of my cards rather than grade. I like your idea with an example of the Topps golds and chrome refractor representing each of the years. Good luck on that pursue.
Great stuff. Cards look awesome. Ive been doing that for a while too but with magnetics more with modern and ultra modern and your absolutely right why spend more money that can go into other cards that you may want slabbed. That jaws card with the gum is awesome and i really like that Mantle too. Have a good one brotha 🤙🤙
Well Jude stoked you bought one and sucks they lost it. I am a betting man and my money is on the fact it will show up at some point in time. In my 23 years of Ebay selling and buying I have only had maybe 3 cards ever get completely lost most turn up even if it ends up being a few months later. I have also only had around 5 cards ever damaged selling and buying. Lets hope for the best on this one.
Ryan, The tip is have a wife like mine to create a template ha ha. For reals though Zion will make them for you !!!!!! They will create a template you can fill in yourself
Beautiful cards. I have a few questions in those slabs how do the smaller sized cards not slide around and do you use penny sleeves especially for chrome cards? The Billy Cowan card is so awesome with that halo over his head. I would like to see more cards like that. Is that monument still standing? Thanks in advanced and as always a fun video. Take care.
Hi Dodger Town, Sorry for the delay in reply. I use penny sleeves for the smaller ones, I decided not to use sleeves on the Chrome because that just takes away more of the shine. Once there slabbed up Im not going to worry about it. The Angels Monument is still standing or at least it was last time I saw it. ha ha. Thank you so much for watching and your great ?s shaka dude

Hammer,
I can't wait until they come out with bigger ones. That will open up another door for us. Did you make a custom label for yours yet ?
I can’t believe it took me so long but I can now see how your favorite card has some representation in your labels. Fantastic revival

Dylan, I am trying to do the same with some of my raw cards. Finding it difficult to make my own labels...what tips do you have?
