I went to a tiny charter school where nobody had heard of them which was disappointing. On the other hand they were my obscure gem to introduce to people to prove I had good taste in music! Now I'm super excited there's a new album on the way. I'm giddy, I'm stunned, I can't fucking feel my face!
I made it. I'm still alive to experience this. Never got tired of being a fan of Alvvays through the years. I'm so happy I could literally cry. This song tells me that everything's gonna be alright.
Love the diminished 7th chord in the chorus! You don't hear too many of them in popular music, especially not in upbeat tunes like this. Best album of the decade so far.
