All C130s have been retired from the UK Air Force, so it was great to see. I've spent about 30 hours total in the back of one. One trip was to Gibraltar on Exercise. It was a cramped but memorable experience. I have walked across that runway, too, but those were the days when the gates at the Spanish border were closed. I do love the fast jets. Thanks for sharing.

So the intercepted plane was from the Civil Air Patrol, it was a training mission.

@@felixx321 my first video 15 years ago, is by the nearest lake to the base he said (south east tip of Florida.) also the huge power plant there he said is the reason why ... ps, that plant is leaking. 🤐
defense of the miami power plant and air base next to it.. the south tip of florida and the major Everglades is what you see there at the end of it also. Sadly the plant is leaking and few people even care.. 😢

As someone who has family in Gibraltar, I LOVE that runway!! My dad and I on family trips would wait at the gas station at the other side for aircraft to come land and then we would walk across and see them take off. My grandpa who was a plane lover is buried in a graveyard near the airport facing the runway ao he can keep watch. Little traditions that last generations 🥹❤️

I live near a an AFB. The engine out C130 landing s are routine. They intentionally shut down one engine for training. When they do near tree top maneuvers it’s facilitating. We all go out I. The back yard to watch. Those C-130’s are impressive.

Gibraltar now sadly has a tunnel under the runway for cars

The last time I was in GIB 2010 vehicles crossed the runway. Is it correct now they have a tunnel?
yes they do, but delays when the Spanish let them in since Brexit

They do this with several different types of planes to simulate different scenarios such as a potential terrorist attack or a plane unaware of a restricted space

First one, is a defense of the major power plant and base at the southeast tip of FL... and few know the powerplant(in my links for years here) is leaking and base foam, into the local water supply.
First video i made here is at the lake nearest to the base and plant... 🤐😳 (nobody will ever tube that lake again trust me i had privilege ) heh
I visited Turkey Point back in the early 80s when security was just tight and not insane. Even then they had security guards with M16s. I can only imagine what it’s like now.

That is the base at the tip of Florida, the southeast tip.. i went to the Air Base school next to it.
We would see f16 and blackhawks there daily, and refuelers all year long, sometimes a fast A10... heh
The intercepted are CAP (civil air patrol) planes.

Silly American exercises such a waste of money and unnecessary co2 in the atmosphere. Use that money to feed the homeless.
