  • It feels French, looks French, and I love it! The Nissan Townstar is based on the same platform / chassis as the Renault Kangoo! It felt MORE FRENCH than Japanese! EPIC!
Nissan and Renault have an alliance that started since the 1990s, it helped them survive in the EU market!
The release of the new Nissan Townstar 2022 was a surprise! Looks very desirable and more interesting than the last generation (just like the Renault Kangoo).
However, French car manufacturers innovate A LOT, and it goes to a point where priorities are conflicting. With the Nissan Townstar, I felt like Nissan-Renault were very invested with fancy storage solutions and leather seats, instead of focusing on practicality. Why would you need leather seats in a small van?
But I found it interesting and promising as a competitor in the small van segment!

pretty useless with a sliding side door on only one side. very limiting. your camera shots are too close up to get an overall concept of the car IMO.

The Nissan NV 200 was promising for sure, I've noticed some Nissan vehicles disappeared from their website (implying they're no long sold in Belgium). I believe the Renault Nissan alliance have a plan!

The only one to buy this car are those who need it. Not those who want it. Especially not the EV. Really overpriced.
