Any chance we could change the English spelling for his name to "Semyon" Chudin? It reflects a little more accurately the actual pronunciation. (Not to mention other considerations....)
Lovely choreography and lovely dancers but with the exception of Chudin's solo, it looks like the dancers were going at about 80%. The stretch in the upper body and expressiveness of the neck and head isn't there like it could be. It's beautiful but a little too safe in my opinion.
I agree, I saw it danced by Tsiskaridze, Careno and I forgot who the third oine was and Tsiskaridze was amazing... the other too. It was only a part of it, about 5-6 minutes. Unfortunately it's not on YT, Tsiskaridze definitely gave it his all. He is amazing. I think that Hallberg is overrated. I like theatrical expression in ballet not just high jmpos with no feelings. I wish you cold see Nikolai.
I liked but could be less boring. Dancers are great although I didn`t see any job of Semen Chudin or where he dances; he seems be pretty good..Thanks for uploading

They are lacking the chemistry of 1997 cast. But if anyone could do the justice for Malakhov part, it should be Chudin!
Agree, I Tsiskaridze in it, he is a genius, such an expression like nobody else.He danced it with Matvenko and Careno.
Hallberg is overrated. he just moves and jumps high but to me looks like a dancing marionette with no expression.
