    It wasn't the Joystick, neither the Trim, AOA or airspeed. The plane flapping was due to the control scheme: You have to map the joystick axis to the 'Elevator Axis' input. The 'Elevator Down' is a binary input (as opposed to analog). It's meant for keyboard and buttons and will continue to increase the elevator's deflection for as long as it's held. So if you map one side of the joystick Y axis to that, the moment the joystick goes to that side (even a little bit) you'll be holding the 'Elevator Down' "key" and the elevator will deflect completely. It's a little different from arma where you can map each side of an analog axis independently.

    • @cezannealves6926
      @cezannealves6926 Před 4 lety +9

      Also, the reason Drewski was flying with a high AOA is because he had to hold the joystick back the entire time to avoid a full dive. Then he controlled the altitude with throttle, hence the low airspeed.

    • @Nerb1
      @Nerb1 Před 4 lety +3

      What are you talking about? Look at the airspeed... everytime he drops below 70 knots, the plane stalled and picked up its airspeed in the dive. The throttle was on idle. The gauges are right there on the screen!

    Its not procedural its a process called photogrammetry and it makes procedural look like ancient technology. Your joystick wasn't giving out. The new bonanza's have active stall protection, and you were at a slow-flight airspeed. The nose dives would have stopped if you'd deployed full flaps and kept it at around 75Kias. Flaps deployed essentially disables the AOA pitot tube and renders the AOA inop. Hope that helps.

    For anyone wondering: Altis is so gray and brown because bohemia is trying to emphasize that the lawlessness and political issues in Altis, along with global warming(remember altis is 2030s), is kind of screwing up lot's of the farmland's greenery, otherwise, consider it just for the simplicity of the player.
    Edit: It also explains why AAF uniform/pattern is sooo green that it could belong it Tanoa, they used the real equivalent of the LAF uniform into consideration, without consideration of the possibility that it would change as the climate caused the foliage to change color, which is also why NATO seems to have the best uniform in Altis/Stratis, they're adapted and have the option to use a different uniform.
