the *[.]{transparent}* method does NOT work anymore!
instead of that, you need to write *\s*
- carefully read description as most questions can be answered by looking at it!
- if you can’t move your elements around, save your progress and refresh the site
- if ‘PAGE NOT FOUND’ shows up, make sure you have a VERIFIED ACCOUNT (email). if your account is verified and that still happens, contact carrd by going to carrd.co/dashboard/help.
- have an already made carrd account before progressing with tutorial and make sure you save (publish/make a draft) your site from time to time so you don’t lose progress. if you do lose it, there’s sadly nothing we can do about it as we don’t provide free templates!
Oh my gosh you don’t know how much I’ve needed this. I’ve been trying to make a carrd for months but I’ve always ended up quitting because I’ve become overwhelmed. This tutorial was super easy to follow through because it didn’t go too fast, and I love the way it tuned out!!

Great tut, it's pretty easy to follow! But how do you make the information slide out after you click the button? For me it just appears without any animation. Also my picture wont appear, in the end result the picture is also still not showing.
hmm.. check your page settings! page > animation > on section change: fade in! as for the picture not showing, i'm not sure where's the issue, could you please dm us on twt (screenshot this convo so i know who you are, pls!) to see if we can resolve the issue? :) our username is @lovjbini!

hello! i have a question. so in carrds like these where we use the header and a page drops down beneath, is there a way to create a chain or something... i don't know how to word it properly but like the header keeps extending as each page gets added. so it'll be header -> page 1, but instead of it being header -> page 2, it just comes beneath page 1 as well. sorry if this question is worded really bad😭 but I've never been able to find out how to do it

other person had the same problem, turned out they just put a white overlay on that container, which shouldnt be there. maybe you did the same. if its not that, then i dont know :/

I added the transparent . text above the name and username but when I published the website, it disappeared and the home button is now directly above the name? I even changed it from transparent to being the exact hex code colour of my background, but it still removes it and I'm not really sure what to do? I've tried everything :^(
not sure why that happened :( maybe instead of that transparent text try changing home icon's margin and adjust it so it looks good?

hii sorry i dont know if this is just me but with the "gradient" overlay on my image, it covers the entirety of my image and its not a transparent overlay... as in i cant see the image at all. when i tried remove the overlay incase it was my image at fault, i can see the image fully and it's opaque. my percentages are 0% for stop 1, and 100% for stop 2, as well as a 90% angle. does anyone know what i could've done wrong? any help would be super appreciated, thank you for the tutorial though !!
you need to have 00 at the end of the color code at stop 1 like FFFFFF00

is there a way to make the buttons stay highlighted after it's clicked? i put a 'grow' hover animation on the buttons for mine but it goes away after clicked so unless there's a title for the section, it's hard to know which one you clicked.
no there's no way to do that, it will stay highlighted on mobile though

because it has to be the same as section breaker. i names section breaker #one so you have to put #one in the url of likes + dislikes etc. you just did it wrong, watch everything carefully. if you do everything the way i did, everything should turn out alright

make sure thay the gradient that have '00' at the end isnt 'FFFFFF00' but whatever other color. if that doesnt help then dont add gradient whatsoever

i dont remember what settings i used but its either Page spacing or margins of buttons/containers. just go back to these parts and see whats the issue
For this particular comment: select the container with the issue>margins>bottom. Set it to auto.

Hi! I did the carrd and everything went well, except for one thing. I don't know if it's taught in the video, sorry if it is, but I made the carrd on the computer, and when I go to see it on my phone the format is weird, the photo is stretched, I wanted to make it look like the one on the computer without having to change much. Is there any way of doing this?

you have to scroll down from your pc and manually adjust the carrd for the mobile version

@@lovjbini yeah that it's problem. I do step by step form your video although I design my own. I add container in to the page 3-4 container, then add 3-4 button in the top container like you, then add control command and set up everything like you. In this point is deferrence. When run example webside it's doesn't split the page form buttom in set up, it's can scoll down and see everything in other page. And when I delete header command control the webside split a page normally but of cuase a button can't stay in other page. I don't understand what is a problem or carrd it bug?

@@lovjbini I think I know a reason. A carrd web side it's simplify until do something wrong easier but hardest to understand. A algorithm of carrd prioritize from top to bottom. That mean all of this problem I'm just place a some section controller to above of all page. That is a reason why my split a page is broken. I think must create a section for come back to first page but now I'm fix already just delete it. everything is normal now 😅

you need to put correct urls. ie. button named 'rules' should have #rules in the URL and you need to have a section break called #rules
idk if this is related but, it says i cant open my website bc i did it offline. idk how to bring it back online and theres no tutorial on how to do so. it would be wasted if my time for this will just be deleted
i dont really know how to help you, since its out of my hand. all i can recommend you to do is to contact carrd through their email, they respond really quick. you can find contact to them on the website.
