55 years ago, my non-medical father helped a woman get rid of a horrible cancerous tumor with plain carrots juice and water for 2 months. They were in South America and no access to medical system, except for testing.
It worked. She raised her children.
My mother 92 was having radiation for metastatic squamous cell carcinoma in the trigeminal nerve. Couldn't chew.
    Not getting much better.
She and I decided to try very low carb. Not easy at 92.
She is doing much better, no pain, no diabetes either.
    Lost some weight.
Stopped losing weight when we adjusted the amount of food. Still eating lentil and cauliflower bread with coconut or almond almond flour.
Some chicken, green beans, zucchini, broccoli, grated pickes, blended saurkraut and olive oil dressing, etc. And we learned that there are still so many different foods available in a low carb lifestyle!
Even if you can't have teeth!
Would be easier if she could eat salad.😅

Dr Li, can’t thank you enough for your efforts in raising awareness about the marriage of medicine & nutrition to combat disease. This is an area that has been brought to my attention by our honourable Doctor Mohamed Faid of Morocco (yes of all places) during this COVID pandemic. Apparently, as a food scientist, he has been closely looking into this area since early 90s. He strongly recommends that we explore nutrition including herbs & grains in their entire diversity & manner of cooking & using to improve our health & combat disease. I personally followed some of his advice, successfully, to get off HRT medicine within 6 months. My Doctor in London was astounded with the result. Now I have stumbled into your videos confirming this theory. I believe the future will pleasantly surprise us in this area thanks to great Doctors like you & Dr Faid. Looking forward to getting your book. Many thanks.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) prioritize food as medicine to build immunity. the results tend to be slow and that puts off many patients who expect a pill for quick fixes. we spent years in eating junk and living a sedentary lifestyle and expect things to turn around within a week is asking too much.

Thank you for all you do! I am a stage 4 bc patient with 5 bone metastasis. My oncologist at CTCA in Illinois believes my lifestyle/nutrition has helped my ibrance and Letrozole work more effectively!! I am a teacher and will retire in 2-3 years. I really want to go into educating people on how to help themselves with nutrition!!! Do you need a teacher on staff? 😂 Lol just kidding.

Dear Dr. LI. I recently bought your book " est to beat disease" and I am enjoying every page of it. I am a patient of Cholangiocarcinoma. Dx back in October 2018. I am now going to be treated to Massachusetts General Hospital. Is there a way I can be in some clinical trial with your team. This is one of those rare disease . I have been eating all the food you mentioned. That is why my BP is good 103/71. And all my blood work seems to be fantastic. However I would like to be in some clinical trial. My goal is to live up to 100 years. I am 54 now and ready to beat this disease
