I own nothing. All rights to their respected owners. - Hry
I am an mechanical engineer and I was listening to this while setting up a stress claculation of redesigned part of machinery.
I was about to hit calculate button, when Machine God whispered unto me through this sacred chants: "Check the model again!"
Of course, I obeyed, and of course, I found that 3D model sent to me for analysis was not properly cleaned. There were some artefacts
in poorly visible but important section of geometry, a mistake that would cost me about 20 hours of cogitator time if unnoticed.

Fun lore fact:
The red robes worn by the Mechanicus have religious meaning (by the 41st millennium), however their original purpose was to conceal them in the deserts of Mars during the civil wars fought between the various factions of Mars during the Age of Strife.
Oh snaaaaap~ Did not know this!
I'm a low-mid on my 40k Lore knowledge but shit like this is why the world feels so immersive.
@@ValiduzZhe civil war on kreig might have been big, but mars was a whole new level. THOUSANDS of titians fighting and advanced weapons on a world that humanity managed to terraform but was and is reverted to its original state. Mars civil war and mechanicus in general are underrated. The second head on the Aquila represents the mechanicus for the emperor didn’t want to fight as he knew his forces would never be capable of taking on the mechanicus, he instead incorporated them into the imperium.
@@arcturus960 While you are partially correct, your last sentence is just factually incorrect. The Emperor had to fight many civilizations on other planets in order to incorporate them into the imperium, he just didn't want to fight them because he knew he didn't need to and there was more to be gained by working together.
@@SaveMeXenu my bad, the imperium is incredibly diverse, so much that we barely see anything other than space marines, hive cities, cadians and their copies
@@arcturus960 You're right, the Emperor knew conquering them conventionally would be unbelievably costly, so he performed miracles to the Mechanicus on arriving to demonstrate he was their messiah. His ship entering the atmosphere brought rainfall, the first time in a thousand years on the red planet.
I’ve been waiting too long for this moment. The Omnissiah’s will shall no longer be halted by a six minute barrier or a replay button destroyed by my Servo Arm demanding more.

Their will iron, their faith unshakable. Their determination, adamantine.

We are not worthy yet, no we are not. For we are still caged with fleshy skin hanging on frail bones. We *will* be set free when the time comes. Heed to the machine spirit and await the blessed day with fervour, brothers and sisters.

God, this game's soundtrack is, legit tho, the best warhammer game soundtrack ever. And that isn't a weak field of competitors. As the say in the low gothic....It slaps.
Good enough to get me into the game despite it not being my genre.
i love the admeck so this game is 10/10 in my books even with the flaws its mighty fun hitting necrons with a power axe and seeing them go flying when you crit
I gotta agree. I turn off the music in all 40k games and play the Mechanicus OST instead.
That's some of the lowest gothic I've ever heard.
Vermintide for fantasy even though I didn't play them much. For 40k old bias puts vengeances of the blood angels ost very high for me.
I listened to this while riding home on my bike. Shortly after my departure, I was driving a Leman Russ. Halfway home it ran out of fuel, but kept running on prayers to the Omnissaiah.
This sounds like Heretical Ork worship
@@FaraloSOUTHAUS So what you're saying is that you know about a Xenos race called orks. Furthermore you know how their heretic rituals work. Now do you think it'd be beneficial for either of us to tell anybody about this?
I told the machine spirit to quit being a fat bastard and run faster, And it increased my leman russ's speed
Im not quite sure why it refused to start up after i got out of it.
I think you broke its self-esteem somehow. The Collegia Titanica is very interested in people with the willpower to do that.
Sounds like Ork thing... Should I contact inquisition?

From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, It disgusted me.
I craved the Strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the Blessed machine.
Your kind cling to your flesh, as if it will not decay and fail you.

My toaster, hearing this, started chanting on a high Gothic.
"Ego postulo alia memoria circuitu"?
I remember one time I had a sub-system that was not communicating with the overall command and control. Being a faithful servant of the Machine I whipped out a purity seal, slapped it on the offending system, knelt and recited the prayer. Lo and behold, my techs reported that both systems were now communicating with each other.
Machine God be praised!
who ever is playing that pipe organ must of set it on fire with how fucking LIT this music is.

This thing has no business being this perfect.
Managed to finish the whole thing twice before even noticing the passage of time. Truly this extended tribute-work is blessed by the Iron Messiah!
I was playing this (and Children of the Omnissiah) on speaker at work today. Never has performing Rites Of Maintenance felt so satisfying. I'm a mechanic at a ford dealership.
Ford needs the Omnissiah. Badly. Bless you, brother.

Suffer not the alien to live.
No joke. My GPU fried and I ordered a new one. When installing my new GPU I played this in the background to appease the gpu's machine spirit.
One of the best, if not the best, ost for any 40k game. We've got to get the composer to make more music for us children of the Omnissiah. When I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and purity of steel...
By flame shall the unclean be made clean, by fire shall the unholy be made holy. -Gathalamorians 71.6

It's did not digust me. It's make me think.
"How I can make it strong ?"
And then, the Omnissiah answer me.
"With steel and wire, my child"
So I follow his word of wisdom.
All of these comments about the Machine God helping them makes me wonder if Games Workshop was onto something.
We need more extended versions of these soundtracks, Guillaume David did an amazing job with the music, really captured the machine spirit.

Even on a hot day, the hairs stand up on my neck and I almost shiver when I hear the chorus “+++ THE MACHINE ETERNAL +++”. I’m not a Adeptus Mechanicus fan, but I listen to this OST now when I work on Horus Heresy Mechanicum.
Even though my profile picture is the Black Templars symbol, I have to say that the Adeptus Mechanicus is my favorite faction, and this game and OST is the exact reason why. I try to remind myself that the Mechanicus and the "Machine God" are made up concepts, but the idea of a "Machine God" is just too fucking cool to me
It happens when things are at their darkest.
It cuts through the static of the mind, an unusual tone in the symphony of thought.
If you push for it, and allow it into your heart, it will beat with you.
An echo that reverberates within your soul.
The screams and contortions of a metal god that has both existed since long before you, and will not exist until long after you.
Its influence ebbs and flows, but the warmth it brings always remains.
Praise be to the Omnissiah

I picked that up from a comment that's from an extended ost called "Children of The Omnissiah"
Something I really like about this track is the Mechanicus chanting you can hear. It's distinctly human and familiar, and yet I can't comprehend it. For all my attempt to try and understand what's being said, it is completely alien to my ears despite how familiar it is.
Distinctly human and yet alien at the same time. If there was ever a way to describe the Mechanicus, that would be it. And it's beautiful.
I am a 3D artist. And one day I was trying to do some stuff on a high poly model on my computer. It wasn't working well. The app kept crashing and crashing everytime... I've started listening to this soundtrack when working out, the flesh is weak after all.
This chant of cyborg man, praising their creator and whats basically their version of Internet (Noosphere), really hypes us up due to it sounding like a heartfelt ovation. Really a lot of emotions put into this, despite it was "made" by robot men.
For us maintainable guys who work hands on with the blessed machines, can confirm they do have personality. Some days the machine spirit is in a good mood, some days it's temper is foul. The nicer you treat it, the more you care about it and maintain it, the happier it is.
