It takes years and years of study and lots of practice. Eventually it becomes as natural and easy as walking across a room - or so we want you to think!

It takes a lot of practice doing those isolations. At first it’s exhausting and painful but then you get the muscle to do them.

I recently started learning to belly dance. At first, my goal was to lose weight, but it's really fun, and you can see Jasirah having fun doing it. Hope I can do a full choreo like that one day
It took me TWO YEARS and gradual progress and Determination! Keep Dancing. It IS worth the effort. From me at 83 to YOU....DANCE. You'll not regret it.......
AND....I can still do The Dance, even as an Elder....admitted, I'm slower now, but I've Never lost the desire to do this Dance.
@@deedoyle4069 I'm 64 and started 9 years ago. It strengthens your core and all those little muscles that hold all your organs up. Most of my friends have incontinence issues - not me. I owe so much to yoga as well as belly dancing.

Her dancing was amazing I agree! She had a movement for every beat but what i enjoyed the most as others stated was the joy on her face and playful look she gave to what was a very difficult and technical dance routine and she made it look fun and effortless. Just beautiful to watch.👏👏

I think that the drummer and the belly dancer deserve more credit than they got. The fact that she was able to dance with the beat and the fills took a lot of rehearsing. Believe me I have been playing the doumbek for 11 years and I am 13 (the drum that guy is playing) and playing all of that without adding something of his own and not going off timing is exceedingly hard. I respect both the dancer and drummer a lot for their talent.

I was a bellydance for over 20 years and I can honestly tell you that this woman is fantastic! Nothing more or less. Not only is she fabulous but she has class and her costumes are gorgeous .

@@viktoria6279 It is natural movement crafted and built upon through study, and lots of practice in front of a mirror. Of course, having a basic sense of rhythm is required, but most people can learn to be good enough to enjoy themselves - maybe not to the extent of performing publicly, but certainly enough to enjoy the art of the dance.
All the ladies out there twerking up a storm could learn a thing or two from this goddess who has perfected an art that goes back thousands of years. Now excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor!

this is incredible. i can't even begin to imagine the hours of painstaking work that went into this. everything from the dancing to the music is on point. this is poetry in motion!!!
Some of it is just being built that way and sometimes doing it from childhood helps. I practiced a long time in my 30's but I never was able to get as good with the body control, maybe if I"d started younger there would have been more mind-muscle-body movement.

HA HA, I USED TO DANCE IN MY YOUNGER DAYS BUT I NEVER LEARNT HOW TO BELLY DANCE. I WISH NOW I WOULD HAVE LEARNT HOW TO DO IT. ITS A GREAT DANCE ALRIGHT BUT I DONT THINK IT WOULD BE EASY TO LEARN.
