Hi, I wrote this song as part of a completion for songwriting. The theme given was - Vocation . I feel that not only Priests and nuns have vocation , every human being has one . This is the story of the small boy who had the courage to come forward and share the little that he had. And Jesus Christ made a miracle out of it . Yes Jesus can make a sunrise out of a spark and an ocean out of a drop . God doesn't called the qualified , he qualifies the called. May this song be an inspiration to work for the kingdom of God and the Church. Let us be ready to share even the small talents we have.

1.One afternoon my parents
took me to see a man
who was famous in my home country land
They called him the Messiah,
the King of Kings
heard about all the wonderful things
He called out for anyone
who had something to share
coz of the journey could he could feel hunger in the air
He asked if anyone had something to eat
I jumped up and went for him
I wanted to meet

to be what you are meant to be

2.I gave him the bear minimum that I had
Five loaves and two fish, the launch pad
H said a prayer and a miracle happened
seeing that my faith deepened
That night as I slept on my pillow
and thought about my life although
I was happy I didn’t waste the chance
to do the smallest thing I took a stance
God doesn’t call the qualified. God qualifies

Thomas was a doubter and Mat a Tax collector
Elijah was Moody and Abraham was an Oldy
Sarah was impatient and Moses couldn’t speak
David had an affair and Noah got drunk
Paul was a murderer and Jonah ran away
Sarah was impatient and Lazarus was dead
