Gotta say, this is exactly what I expected based on the cover.
I love how the few videos you can actually find never go beyond like 10 minutes, everybody just gives up on the first level
In our case it is what we use to do for most of the games. Just a quick gameplay to show the first stages. But I probably would have never played more that 10 minutes either =D
I might be more than a little late but....AVGN brought me here
Me too
same

Well, Bobby Price did the music
Lookin' forward to the remake.
See ya then, 22 other people in the world.

Just think how many weird obscure games like this are out there that most people will never know about. Even if you are really into retro gaming there are just so many old PC games that you will never know about them all. I wonder how many copies this game sold? Was it actually profitable for the company that made it?
So true. I wonder about those things myself I love old Dos games and never knew this existed
This was shareware, it was software that was shared, not sold.
@@LucasIsHereYT ok
@@travisesquibel3903 And 2 years later I bet you forgot ole Rallo Gump even existed until you were reminded by this reply! lol
An obscure game for the MS-DOS.
This game hints some serious lsd use.
Nerd?
Who’s here because of AVGN’s review of it’s bad cover art?
are those... Doomguy grunts?
They're stock sound effects, so probably yes.
I had a demo of this in the 90s and it was the most CPU-intensive DOS game I've ever seen. Newer games worked fine, but Rallo Gump? This thing was running at 1 FPS and the installation was enormous. You couldn't run it from Windows at all and even starting in DOS mode, it was virtually unplayable. Such a perfect disaster in every way.
I never played this specific one back in those days. But yeah, I can remind a few games where you had to do the impossible to reduce resources and having them barely playable!
This has to be the least visually appealing MS-DOS game I’ve ever seen
It’s cute. In an infantile way.
how the fuck did james find this game
Stay clear of Spunky Gump
He farts every time he jumps
Looks like the Noid from Domino's.
So it's basically Mario?
Is this real
That music . ugh
Ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch
Possibly the worst game ever created.
yeah, it looks like it sucks major ass..
That's a big claim.
You obviously haven't heard of Top Banana.
@@Nathan-rb3qp Looked that one up. Died. Thanks.
Can’t believe this game is racist.
o_0 uhhh yeah this sucks
Weird stuff happens when europeans decide to make games.
I think this was more like a fan made game than a commercial production
True, give Europeans access to a computer and they make very weird games like
"Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" and "The Witcher 3"
Rallo Gump, however, was made in the good old United States :D
@@CommonSense-hy2sn Don't be so triggered, I meant weird in a kind of good way. Old retro european games like Gianna Sisters, Turrican, Fairlight, Dizzy, etc. had a differente feel, more atmospheric music than regular US/japanese games. Plus, besides Nintendo, Rare is my favorite software developer. (brazilian here by the way).
@@Toskano self projecting? was jk man, don't be upset about video games.
