Hey, I just wanted to thank you. I registered my LLC and am officially starting my business. You and your videos are a large part of why I finally pulled the trigger. Thanks for all the education and the inspiration!
Ahhh that is so amazing! Iâm glad my videos have helped you so much! Thank you đ„°
Same here...I am sooo thankful to have found you on CZcams. You deserve a billion+ subscribers..your energy is amazing and positive. Thanks for your videos
Same for me as well
Congratulations đ
Evn I'm getting inspired â€ïž
I had asked a question about larger batches on your past video, I'm so glad you responded. PLEASE continue doing videos about larger batches like these. I appreciate your hard workđ
Thank you for sharing the large batch process. And I love how organised your work space is.
Thank you! & Iâm glad you think so đ„°
Hey, would you ever mind if you make a video about creating a formula specifically demonstrates more about the phases. How you march phase A, B, C ingredients so on and so forth. That would be beneficial. Thanks for your supportive content:)
WoW what a smooth explanation
Iâve been waiting for you to post for a while now! Thank you for this amazing videođ
Iâm so happy you enjoyed!!! Iâll do my best to post as much as I can!
Thank you Tara. đđ„°
Thank you so much for you lovely spirit and presentation and the accurate info .
I love these kind of videos đđđđ
I totally love all of your videos!! They've been so instrumental in me starting my own product line. I have a great idea for your next video (one that would help me a lot)... "Organizing Your Lab." Mine is so small, but gets the job done. I need storage ideas for my materials. Where did you get the little white shelves (with the top shelf storage & drawer) behind you where you (looks like you store your smaller Extracts and Hydrosols)? I need those it my life...lol. đđŸđ Keep up the good work...love what you're doing! đ
I love watching your videos. You do things a lot like I do. My biggest batch is 60,000 grams and my scale only weighs up to 11lbs, roughly 4,950 grams, so I weigh in smaller vessels, then pour into my large pots. Sometimes I think about starting a channel for my business, but I'm extremely camera shy! Anyways keep doing great work love, your channel is inspiring!
This colour is so cute great video đ
Wooow thanks for sharing am new to formulating and i love ur vedios very helpful
Useful video, thanks taarađ€©
Tara, for your formulating for beginners, can you please do emulsified facial masks? I really love them, but would love to see how you make these. They are very, very popular in my market. Especially the clay masks
I am so glad I came across you Tara Lee. I had a skincare business but have been in a creative slump since my mom died 2 years ago. I hadnât realized how much I missed it until I started watching your videos. One question, I measure everything in ounces. Is it better to do grams and why?
Once again just what I needed, it's like you read my mind!
Ahhhh Iâm so glad!!đâđ»
One quick question though the link to the scale is only the small one not the larger one you use. I am going crazy trying to find a larger capacity scale here in Canada so I was 3xcited to see this, I basically use all your recommendations!
Thank you fir delivering amazing content , always!
Thanks so much for watching and enjoying my content đ

First let me say, your videos are so informative and inspiring. Thank you for your being so selfless and transparent. đčâ„ïž I have a questions. Iâm making oil for skin and beards Initially I started with organic products it was going to be labeled as organic but now Iâm incorporating other oils that are natural. Any advice on how should the label can be read. Can it have as ingredients âOrganic and naturalâ or would it be considered ânatural oilsâ now on the label? How should it be worded.
Would love to see the process of body butters
Great video,Thanks for sharing!
I would love to see a video on how you make large scale batches for emulsions that require a heating phase.
Yes I do have an older video of one like Brandi mentioned. Itâs not as large of a batch as the one in this video though.
@Brandi Jackson thank you
i would like to see more video like this!
so glad you enjoyed!!
Well done!!!
thank you!!
Please do a video on product photography :)

Thank you so much for all your awesome tutorials! I make all this for my family on my time offđ€Łđ
Hi can you do one for large batches of a body butter?
how would you do the double boiler method for the XL beakers for a heated emulsion?
hey tara, i wanted to ask you a ques....i want to make a homemade flaxseed gel for myself but optiphen plus, liquid germall are out of my budget ...i can only afford phenoxyethanol....can i use this preservative till i have a budget to use other preservative....how long is the shelf life by using phenoxyethanol and without storing it in the refrigirator
Hi, Tara I have the same scale. Do you balance the "air bubble" to the middle before every use? Or only for calibration?
I too don't give out recipes that I use for my products. Smart Girl!!
I figured since I share so many, I'd like to keep a few to myself đ
How do you get body butte scent to last longer? I used essential oils and Flavoroil but its not lasting once applied to skin. I am trying to stay as natural as possible and suggestions?
Hello i just want to ask you a question
Can i use caustic soda for make my own soap
Thank you for this video! I needed it. Can you show your packaging process please?
Check her playlists,.Tara has a few videos on packaging :-)

@@TaraLeee OMG you responded! You're so amazing. Thanks for the amazing videos! Love from Nigeria đłđŹ.
So as long as the % is there we can come with any batch weight amount?. So 1000 gr batch with 50% water...we can always make more or less batches if I use the same ratio?.
Thanks
Thanks so much for watching!
Tara u re so amazing and open such a wonderful lady
awwh thank you so much!!

Hi Tara! How do you test your products for safety and stability? Trying to get some tips on that for home made products..
I do microbial testing. You can purchase these on lotion crafter or FSS. You could also send them to a lab and have them test them for you - sagescript.com/microbiology/
Hello.. How are you.. I hope you can help me answer my question.. I have finished studying biology and have a masterâs degree in microbiology, as well as many courses in the manufacture of natural products.. How can I apply for a job in a company from which I gained experience in managing a project like thisâ€ïž
This was insightful, but I guess my question is how do you know how much to increase your ingredients by in order to make a successful large batch? Do you have a video for that?
Hi Jade, this is where writing your formulation in percentage form comes in. It easily allows you to scale your batch and have a uniform product. Check out her video explaining this. Hope it helps! czcams.com/video/sqllAUQUpxU/video.html
Do you have insurance for your buisness/products?
Thank you Taraâ€! Also, I sent you an email a few weeks ago!
My email is for business inquires for youtube if you have formulating questions you can sign up for my patreon and message me on there for advice and it if you are interested in my skincare products please message me on Etsy.
@@TaraLeee Thank youâ€
How can we find out what ingredients are in it if we buy wholesale? Iâll only use vegan natural products. I to have a skin Caroline that I have not been working because Iâve been really too busy to make the products.
The ingredients to the products I sell are listed in the description box of the product. If you sell skincare products you legally have to disclose the ingredients.
I donât share the recipes to the products I sell but I of course share the ingredients.
Nice video đč

Hello tara may i know where did you buy the ingredients?
I link to where I buy the ingredients in each of my recipe videos. Since i didn't share the recipe in this video I didn't link to the ingredients, as I don't share the recipes to the products I sell. But if you check out any of my other videos that include recipes I link to where I buy all the ingredients. In this video I linked to all the equipment I used in the description box.
Thank you tara đ

The most confusing part is how much of the chemicals should I add. I want your other video of chemicals that can be. added for face wash, body wash, etc... but the only step I'm confused about is how much of each ingredient. I sent you an email and I'm willing to pay for a few questions being asked. I know you are busy and time is money lol
In America its a sin to say "Kilogram" instead they make it more complicated by using grams, if you ask me I would blow my head off trying to get around their standard unit for measurements đ€Ł
Next time do one with measurements of ingredients obviously not the measurements or ingredients u sell on ur Etsy
I probably wonât be able to since the only time I make large batches like this is for my Etsy shop. I may be able to do one of a body wash or something though since I do go through a lot of that.
Hi Tara! I love your videos, i had a question đ iâm having an issue when making cleansers that contain oil.. i love using cocoglucoside for my facial cleansers, i made one with 10% oil and added emulsifying wax at 3% but always have an issue with the surfactant separating. Not sure what to do anymore đ„ș
The oil is too large for the emulsifier thatâs what that means.
Reduce the oil or add a thickener to that emulsifier . Unless you want it runny I guess
