Veneers are just weird…..just look after your teeth and get braces if they need straightening
That’s not true. Just because a person gets braces doesn’t mean everything comes out alright after orthodontic treatment. There are people who still have misalignment issues, spaces in between teeth, etc all because of the shape of their teeth. Orthodontists will even suggest to a patient to get veneers (porcelain or composite) to rectify this. Crowns are suggested when the teeth are far beyond repair (rotting, have been grounded down due to teeth clinching, accidents, etc). All of these cases are not always caused due to poor dental hygiene.
What about full dental implants? What happens when those are not brushed properly?!!
If you don’t keep implants clean, the gums around them can become infected (just like gums around natural teeth can become infected). Over time, this can cause loss of the bone surrounding the implant, which can cause the implant to fail (need to be removed or fall out on its own).
So glad there's someone who answers our weird questions!

Orthodontic question for you, I've was supposed to have a TAD expander placed, and when they went to put the second screws in after the fist had been in place for awhile they had moved and not latched to the bone. They had to take all the screws out and ended up just placing my expander in as a "normal one" and I completed turns. Today in my appointment he said he wants to get some scans next time to assess my arches and their aliment, I was wondering what this means. Looking in the mirror it seems my top jaw teeth are maybe biting a little inside or on top of my bottom, it looks alright to me but I'm not sure. I am also supposed to be having jaw surgery for my severe overbite in June 2025 if that has anything to do with it.
Also it would be super cool if you did some more videos on jaw surgery, especially for overbites. 😉

I’m might get one of my back baby molars pulled soon because it isn’t falling out and the other one already grew in and I can’t tell which tooth is the baby anymore. I was told I would get laughing gas and I’m worried the Novocain will hurt or it will hurt a lot. I’m rlly scared.
I don't think it will hurt, and even if it would, would you be given anaesthesia?
I can’t have anesthesia because of other medical reasons. I am able to have a small amount of laughing gas but I don’t know how much that will help with the pain.

My baby tooth didn't fall out either, and half of the dentition was incorrectly formed because of it 😭 Parents, please watch your children's teeth to prevent such problems
I had wisdom teeth removed and the surgeon reassured me that it was several times easier and faster to remove a baby tooth, because they have short roots and, in general, they do not sit so firmly in the gum. Good luck to you, even if there won't be a drop of pain at all ❤

I am feeling hot and cold sensitivity months after my root canal, it that normal? ..... I cant afford a crown.
No, that’s not normal. I had the same issue. They re-did my root canal and I still had issues feeling hot, cold, pain. They kept saying it was in my head and my tooth is dead. I went to another doctor and by that time I had swelling on my outer gum below my root canal tooth. The dentist said maybe some of the stuff they used for my root canal was leaking into the surrounding tissue. I ended up having them just take out the tooth. Best decision I ever made. I wish I just did that in the first place. And that swelling went away after the tooth was taken out. Idk if this helped, but just sharing my experience.

getting older is realizing everything needs to be cleaned and that they will get dirty again and you will have to clean it again and that’s life you can’t try to cheat out of not cleaning. it was only recently that i learned yeah even the washer machine for both your laundry and dishwasher need to be cleaned. 😅
