    Really questioning if I should go for a new GT/CS or pick up a used Bullitt. I love the Bullitt's styling and it's cheaper for more performance right now, but I've never driven manual before and heard that the MT82s that are in manual mustangs are pretty terrible. (I'm also wondering if that's why all the used Bullitts I'm finding are as cheap as they are right now. I've seen as low as 12k miles for $45k which seems really odd to me given how unique the Bullitts seem to be. Any problems with them that I'm just unaware of?)

      I've seen some GT350's go for similar price to these. I'd buy that lol. But the Bullet is pretty sweet. I've heard some bad things with the MT82. Keep in mind the bullet really isnt anything special from a GT. I think it's just some better suspension and then cosmetics. All the Mustangs seem pretty solid tho

    • @SakuraShade
      @SakuraShade Před 2 lety

      @@BrosFOURRSpeed the GT 350s I’ve seen at the same price point are few and far between, they’ve gone up quite a lot over the past year or so. Most are $50-60k now. (Although personally, not sure how great of an idea that high of a HP jump would be. Buying one of these would be a first performance car for me, so I’m used to fwd 160 some odd HP, so a jump to 526 might be a bit much, lol)
      From what I understand though, the Bullitt is a bit more than just the suspension and cosmetics. It defaults to the 401A spec, so all the used ones I’ve found are loaded with all the extra bells and whistles. It also uses some of the GT350s performance parts, so it’s a middle ground between the regular GT and the GT350, sitting at 480HP rather than the usual 460 (or in the case of 2022, 450 for whatever reason) They also apparently got the slightly better version of the MT82 with the D model. There’s still complaints about the stickiness of it, but it seems like that version is at least a bit more reliable as long as you’re not constantly driving as hard as you can.
      Thanks for the tips though! I’ll keep the 350s in mind, looks like it would be a bit of a road trip to go get one, but that just means the ride back home is more fun, lol. Would be nice to have a Shelby anyways, something about the cobra badging hits different. Too bad the GT500 is a little bit out of the price bracket unless I slam non stop overtime or something. Regardless, they’ll all be solid cars, certainly something to be proud of, especially in my area. Can’t say I’ve seen a single 5.0 Mustang in my life. Will be nice to change that :)

    I have had a C6 Z06, Gen 6 Camaro and a 21’ GT PP1. All 6 speeds. All great cars… we will remove the Z06 for the purpose of my comment because performance wise, it competes with Ferrari and exotics from its day, mine was an 07’ in Lemans Blue. Never had a Dodge so cannot speak to those. My Camaro was a 19’ SS. The year with the jacked up bow tie placement in front it too was a great car. But I gotta disagree with you, as a person who has actually owned both a 6th Gen SS and a Gen 3 Coyote… both manuals, the FORD trumps the Camaros I’m not just everyday livability, but performace too. The SS had a tad bit more torque down low but outside of that… My GT revs to the moon at 7500 where the SS was at peak power at like 6300. The Stang is faster to 60 and def up top it’s not close. The Stang has much longer legs and on a track with straight aways, will consistently leave the SS behind. And the GT sounds, well, you heard it… world class sound. I will say my SS was not a 1LE. So Camaro SS to GT PP1. Mustangs is the better performer IMO… I track all my cars so have real seat time on tracks
